Principle

Easy opening and the shortest possible breakthrough: the principle of HAWGOOD self-closing spring hinges is clever and simple at the same time. When opening the door, it turns away from the frame thanks to the special shape of the "shoe. As a result, the entire opening width of the door in question is not reduced by the hinge. At the same time, when closed, a minimal hanging seam is created between frame and door. The result? Obtaining entry or passage is very easy and smooth. Furthermore, the door strikes only briefly, keeping heat indoors and reducing noise. 

Versions

Dictator Production's strong and low-noise spring hinges are available in various appearances and materials. For the smaller segment of doors from 19 to 30 millimeters thick, there are the HAWGOOD 4000 and 4500, available in nickel-plated brass, lacquered brass and black or gray plastic.

"Both models are available with a single or double spring and lend themselves well to bar doors, dressing rooms and louvered doors, among others," Marc says. 

Do the HAWGOOD 40K and 41K door spring hinges (equipped with a black or gray plastic shoe) fit perfectly with door thicknesses between 35 and 40 millimeters and door weights up to about 45 kilograms, with the HAWGOOD types 42 and 41, Dictator Production provides a super solid solution for doors from 40 to 54 millimeters thick and in exceptional cases up to even about 100 kilograms heavy.
