One such client is Kunststof Kozijnen Fabriek Heerenveen (KKFH), manufacturer of window frames, facade cladding, dormers and doors made of plastic.

The 12-year-old KKFH also appears on that list. The company has been doing business with Kruba since 2017. According to director/owner Herro Uringa, this has not only to do with the size of the assortment and the product quality offered. The short lines along which Kruba serves its customers are also to its liking. Especially when a breakdown threatens to hamper business continuity. 

"Even then, they make every effort to reach a solution as quickly as possible," Uringa said. "The customer is central at Kruba. And that's a nice thought. Furthermore, they always think along with you. In 2017, for example, Kruba shed its light on the layout of our then product hall. That collaboration culminated later that year in the purchase of a processing machine from the manufacture Thorwesten. Since then, there has been close mutual contact and we have continuously expanded or renewed our machinery. Even around the move in 2019 to the current location at Jousterweg 22 in Heerenveen, Kruba was at our service. Besides transporting our machines to the new place, the company also took care of the installation of a welding/polishing line we purchased from Urban at the time." 

Topper in the welding field

Within the Kunststof Kozijnen Fabriek Heerenveen, the development of seamless welding is followed closely. This focus resulted last April in the purchase of the first Urban AKS 9600-HVL in the Netherlands. Naturally, Kruba as supplier signed for flawless delivery and commissioning. Uringa is happy with his latest acquisition, it turns out. 

"This welding machine allows us to service our customers with a particularly high-quality, revolutionary product. For example, the weld gives great optical results, an aspect our customers are very excited about. In addition, as a manufacturer, we are very pleased with the welding strength and processing speed of the AKS 9600. The next step towards the future will be to optimize our production with this state-of-the-art machine. In doing so, Kruba will undoubtedly lend us a helping hand once again."
