GEALAN-acrylcolor®: Color range customized

GEALAN has updated the color range for its color technology GEALAN-acrylcolor®: Umbra gray RAL 7022 has recently become available as a new standard color.

The trend toward warmer shades for window and door profiles is also reflected in the GEALAN color range. Within GEALAN-acrylcolor®, the popular shade Umbra Grey RAL 7022 is now available as a standard color. The new color is available in GEALAN profile systems with an installation depth of 82.5 mm (S 9000, GEALAN-KUBUS® and S 9000 NL).

Umbra gray RAL 7022 is gaining popularity in the design of modern residential and office buildings. The color has already been used for many residential buildings in the proven GEALAN acrylcolor®. The logical consequence is for GEALAN to add this contemporary gray shade to its standard range. 

GEALAN-acrylcolor® Traffic white RAL 9016 is no longer part of the standard color range, but can be ordered as a project color in the future.

Development of GEALAN-acrylcolor® continues

GEALAN has been refining the color system for plastic window systems for more than 40 years. Since 1980, the high-quality PMMA finish GEALAN-acrylcolor® has set the standard for window profiles colorfast, versatile, durable and robust like no other. Gealan's proven color technology has thus contributed to a durable appearance for more than four decades. So also to the durability and cost-effectiveness of plastic -windows.

GEALAN-acrylcolor® is an inseparable combination of acrylic glass and PVC. This is achieved through the production process co-extrusion. GEALAN consistently and continuously develops and expands the product range with the most diverse complex profiles.

GEALAN offers its GEALAN acrylcolor® in a multitude of its window systems. Whether it is used in historic old buildings or modern architecture; window frames, front doors, balcony doors or sliding systems-even specific solutions for countries such as the Netherlands, France, Italy and Spain, this robust color technique is available. Since 2000 alone, more than 80 million meters of profile have been sold, confirming the high acceptance of GEALAN-acrylcolor® by window manufacturers, dealers, architects, real estate companies and builders.

Variety of colors and trend colors

GEALAN-acrylcolor® makes it possible to design facades in many trend colors. The color palette has nine standard colors and also 50 other project colors on request.

GEALAN is the only system supplier to offer this color technology in metallic colors and even two in the standard color range with DB703 and silver.

In the meantime, GEALAN product developers have been able to announce an expansion of the metallic shades in GEALAN-acrylcolor®. New to the range are the colors gold, bronze and pearl beige similar to RAL 1035 with a metallic effect.
