Innovative sliding door systems for inside and outside

Sliding glass doors are hugely popular. Whereas the sliding doors in our interiors save a lot of space, allow more daylight and offer a great sense of space, outside they provide perfect protection from wind and water. And that without interrupting the view to the garden. For both applications OnLevel recently introduced innovative new systems, which have been received with great enthusiasm by the market.

All around glass. That has been the motto of OnLevel, a well-known and valued market player with a wide range of products around glass, for more than twenty years. Once started with glass balustrade systems, OnLevel now offers aluminum system solutions for, among other things, sliding glass doors, French balconies, glass interior and exterior walls, glass clamps and glass holders. All certified, innovative top products, made on the basis of market requirements, which can be ordered quickly and easily (online) and delivered directly from stock. 

For every situation

"In order to serve glass companies, metal companies, frame manufacturers and facade builders even better and more broadly, we hired two developers two years ago," says Erwin Stegenga, director of OnLevel Benelux BV. "They have developed two sliding door systems for us, which guarantee intuitive and easy installation, a high-quality appearance and long-term smooth running. Whereas Infinity Slide 69 is specially developed for interior sliding doors, SunView is perfectly suited for exterior applications. Thus we offer a suitable system solution for every situation."

Infinity Slide 69 system for interior sliding doors

Infinity Slide 69 is an aluminum guide system for mounting on wall, ceiling or fixed glass, which is often fitted with glass panels. From transparent glass to frosted glass, in thicknesses from 8 to 10.76 mm. "On request, wooden doors (35 to 42 mm) are additionally possible, so Infinity Slide 69 can even be used for closets," says Stegenga. "Weights of up to 69 kilograms are no problem at all."

A unique feature of Infinity Slide 69 is its easy assembly. "Thanks to an improved clamping mechanism, only two clamping brackets are sufficient. Then the glass slide can be secured with only four screws." 

And the adjusting mechanism has also been improved. "This also simplifies the alignment of the glass door. The floor guide has a clickable design, which makes it easy to hang the glass in the system from the front. In addition, the floor guide can be adjusted so that the door virtually adjusts itself. The height adjustment is so well pre-assembled that the glass automatically locks itself in the center."

Softclose with active stopper

Infinity Slide 69 features a soft-close function as standard. An active stopper is also integrated into this function. This eliminates the need to mount a separate stopper. Moreover, the stopper is always in the right place.

Self-cleaning

A common problem with sliding doors is that smooth running is disrupted over time, due to contamination in the rail. "With Infinity Slide 69, this problem is cleverly overcome. Thanks to special brushes on the rollers, the system cleans itself. This ensures smooth and noiseless running also in the long term."

Received with open arms

As desired, the exterior of the system can be supplied naturally anodized, in stainless steel-look anodized or matte black anodized. "In combination with a variable handle range, the system can therefore be integrated into any interior," Stegenga said. Infinity Slide 69 is currently being introduced to the market. "We recently held a pre-sale campaign with our distributors, which was received with open arms. The first 2,500 systems have now been sold and will be delivered in January. As of then, we have the product well in stock. Ordered today, then means delivered within 2-3 days."

SunView system for exterior sliding doors

In addition to Infinity Slide 69, SunView is currently being introduced; an aluminum guide system for exterior sliding glass doors. "With this product we are responding to the growing demand to be able to close verandas and canopies as well," Stegenga said. "SunView is suitable for glass thicknesses of 10 and 10.76 mm, maximum door widths of 1,500 mm and door lengths of 2,600 mm. As desired, one to five glass panels can be added, up to a maximum rail width of 6,000 mm."

Adding your own glass

The system will soon be easy to order through the OnLevel Configurator. Companies need only specify the correct dimensions, Stegenga said. "The system is sold without glass, allowing customers to add their own glass. Using a beetle, the wall profile can be aligned in the correct position in just five seconds. Then it's just a matter of screwing in and done! A brush system protects the glass and keeps the panels neatly centered, ensuring a smooth rolling motion. In addition, an Anti-Lift Device is provided to prevent the door from unintentionally sliding out of the rail. Magnets keep the latch in the correct position."

For all weather conditions

SunView is wind load tested to DIN 18008. "The handles are made of solid V4A stainless steel, which can withstand the most adverse conditions. All floor profiles are natural anodized and include a recess for necessary water drainage." 

As desired, SunView can be supplied either as a ready-made set or as metered goods (for in-house production). "With that, we are offering something for everyone with this product," he says.
