High-quality premium door panels: ultimate customization for the Dutch market

Since its founding in 1990, Polytec has offered a comprehensive range of high-quality, durable and maintenance-free door panels made of plastic and aluminum. Products that are manufactured in Germany using state-of-the-art technology and are continuously developed. At the same time, the company offers a specific solution for every taste and application. Aimed at the Dutch market, says Petra Drijver, commercial manager on behalf of Assen-based Polytec Netherlands.

Polytec provides a conclusive answer to every product question. To this end, the solid German product range has been thoughtfully translated into a welcome preselection of colors, shapes and materials especially for customers within our borders. The result? More overview and a ready-made range of frequently requested panels. "In the field of modern door panels made of plastic or aluminum, we closely follow trends and developments," says Drijver. "As a result, our extensive range meets the wishes of the Dutch consumer in the full breadth. Even when absolute customization is required. We always have a solution ready."

'Dutch new' 

The latter becomes apparent, among other things, when we take a closer look at the digital brochure "Dutch Design Doors. The completely updated publication (online since the end of 2024) shows not only the best-selling existing door panels on the Dutch market but also a number of new trendy models. The digital brochure, which can be used on any end device, is unique, especially thanks to its far-reaching interactive character. For example, the user is guided via QR codes towards explanatory production videos, photos of model variants and detailed images. In addition, each front door in the brochure has a unique door ID, which transfers the depicted model to the special dream door configurator. Here the model can be further assembled according to your wishes.

New Art Decor-Design Series

One of the Polytec novelties included in the brochure concerns an expansion of the range of acoustic panels, which have long been a popular solution in interior design. Under the new name Art Decor-Design series, these products are now also available as aluminum or plastic wing-covered door panels. The new models feature 10 mm wide, black lacquered grooves and, thanks to the recommended wood decor films, provide a warm, trendy look.

Door panels with brass and copper lisens

Also new in the Dutch Design Doors brochure are the premium door panels with lisens in brass or copper look. "The flush lisens of copper or brass are used within this product in an entirely new and above all trendy way," Drijver said. "A handle and rosette in the same brass or copper look completes this beautiful model from our Metallic collection."

Finishing touch

Polytec stands for absolute top quality and an unprecedented variety of door panels. Also when it comes to the variants manufactured from aluminum. Products that are provided with a durable and factory-applied powder coating as standard. Finished in high gloss, matte or fine-textured: everything is possible. "To ensure that powder-coated window frames and door panels match, we use only original powders from leading manufacturers," says Drijver. "By now the counter stands at some 4,000 different powder-coating systems, of which we always have 2,500 in stock." 

Polytec Nederland also offers a very wide program in decor films. The company supplies 300 original films from manufacturers such as Renolit, Continental (also Hornschuch), Celotec and LX Hausys.
