Ultra-slim profiles for minimalist solutions

Minimalism is an important feature of our contemporary architecture. Aliplast, which specializes in the development and production of aluminum systems for interior and exterior applications, responds to this with the ultra-slim profiles of the Max Light range for windows, doors and sliding doors as well as with the interior doors and walls of the IDA system (Interior Doors Aluminium).

Aliplast Aluminum Systems is one of the market leaders in the development and production of aluminum systems for windows, doors, verandas, sliding systems and curtain walls. From its production in Lokeren (Belgium), the company delivers finished profiles to manufacturers in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Scandinavia, as well as to partners in several African countries.

"We closely follow market evolutions. Our spacious R&D department converts trends into new innovative solutions or optimizes existing systems to meet new needs or requirements," says sales manager Netherlands Marc Mulders. "In recent years, the demand for windows, doors and sliding systems with ultra-slim profiles has increased enormously. In addition, architects are increasingly opting for a clean, minimalist look even when integrating interior doors and walls. With the Max Light profiles for windows, doors and sliding door systems and the interior doors and walls from the IDA System we played into that."

Max Light profiles for windows, doors and sliding doors

Systems with a minimalist design already existed, but they weighed heavily on the budget. That is why Aliplast developed its own solution, which is feasible for a wider audience: the elegant and ultra-slim Max Light range. This range of high-quality, thermally broken window and door profiles is used in applications, where very strict standards apply for both thermal and acoustic insulation. The slim profiles with a minimum view width not only mean an aesthetic added value, but also ensure optimal light penetration. Different style variants are available within this Max Light series: 'Modern', 'Steel', 'Design' and 'Invisible'. As a result, there is a solution for every type of home style, for both new construction and renovation.

"We also apply this technology for (lift) sliding door systems with the VG500 and UG Max Light, or ML for short," adds the sales manager. "A center post only 45 mm wide guarantees a practically uninterrupted view and greater light penetration. An optional flat sill ensures a perfect transition between interior and exterior, with no visible aluminum sill."

The interior doors and walls of the IDA system

As the only manufacturer of aluminum profiles for facade elements, Aliplast is also profiling itself on the aluminum interior doors and walls market as a cost-conscious alternative to existing steel solutions: the IDA (Interior Doors Aluminum) system.

"Many building owners dream of robust steel interior doors, but the budget often puts them off," Marc Mulders explains. "We developed a slim and light system made of aluminum, which can be used for swing doors with visible or invisible hinges, for pivoting doors, this both for single and double doors. It can also be used for fixed walls, and a sliding door version was recently launched within the range. The slim aluminum profiles are available in all colors, so they can always be adapted to the color palette of the interior. They are assembled in the workshop or on site, which is especially convenient for larger elements."
