When we work, we work hard. But when we party, we also like to give it a slice. It is a motto, which applies to many companies, including DAKO. The Polish manufacturer of windows, doors, sliding systems, roller shutters and garage doors is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and is not letting it go unnoticed. The highlight was the anniversary gala in Krakow on September 13, to which the Studzinski brothers invited business partners and suppliers from all over the world, but also did not forget the employees and their families.
A 600 m² production hall, a few workers and only a few customers abroad ... these are just some of the features of the DAKO of yesteryear. Today, the company has grown into an internationally oriented manufacturer with 26,000 m² of production facilities, seven hundred employees and partners in Europe, Japan, Canada and South Africa. "We produce high-quality windows, doors, sliding systems, roller shutters and garage doors, half of which today are destined for export to countries all over the world," says Bruno Vastmans, who is responsible for sales in Belgium and the Netherlands at the Polish market leader.
"Although we also had our difficulties at the start, we are proud of the path we have taken so far. We also want to continue working in the future to achieve our goal, especially to get as many Polish windows in construction projects integrate all over the world. The quality of product and service is central to this."

DAKO recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with a grand party to which trading partners, suppliers, as well as employees and their families were invited.
Tastes change from year to year as well as from country to country. That's why at DAKO they listen to the needs in each specific market and try to respond to them with innovative solutions. The best example is the HarmonyLine, in which windows, doors, sliding systems, shutters and garage doors are coordinated to achieve a uniform facade appearance. Furthermore, in recent years the company has invested heavily in its production facilities and offices as well as in brand awareness. "We are also working hard on the expansion of our dealer network, which should ensure that private individuals will eventually be able to find a dealer within a 40-km radius each time. We have already succeeded in this in some countries, but in the Netherlands, for example, we are still looking for suitable partners in certain regions," adds Vastmans.
"On Sept. 13, however, the clock stopped for a moment at DAKO, as that's when we hosted our anniversary gala with an impactful presentation, a celebratory cake and party until the early hours of the morning."
