Invisible hotel doors with remarkable ease of installation

Minimalist interior design of hotel rooms in Silt with Arlu

The fastest way to a sleek wall finish with user-friendly doors? You'll find it at Arlu. Just ask the contractors of Silt, the new event building on the Middelkerke coastline. In the 80 luxurious, attached hotel rooms, the interior doors blend seamlessly into the wall.

Bathroom door in line with the wall

A successful hotel experience includes a serene bathroom. In Silt, you get stylish access to that bathroom. The door frame invisidoor 2.0 is carefully built into the wall. After installing the U-base profile, you choose the position of the invisible neo hinges and the lock with various adapters. Then you finish the remaining space tightly with the cover profile. As a result, the door leaf lies perfectly in the plane and only the joint between the door and the door frame remains visible. Talk about a smooth transition.

A great advantage when installing and further finishing the interior: the basic profile is suitable for both left- and right-handed doors. Even after plastering, it is therefore easy to change the door's direction of rotation. Changing the lock is also child's play, by the way. This means greater ease of installation on the building site and additional freedom for the builder, both during fitting and after completion .

Split rooms with optimal freedom of movement

For hotel rooms with separate sleeping areas, the building owner and architect sought an elegant and user-friendly partitioning solution. Pivotica pro E 100 proved to be the perfect match. This ingenious system for pivoting interior doors owes its minimalist appearance in part to the invisible pivot hinge. The same technology is the secret of its great ease of use. The door opens effortlessly in both directions by up to 150°. The active closing damping then guarantees a gentle return to zero. Because the door always falls back in line with the wall, hotel guests enjoy a sleek interior finish at any time. Can the door be left open? An additional holding position allows it to be fixed at 90° in both directions.

The finish with a special painting technique completes the look of the seamless walls. In addition, when closed, the door falls perfectly into the wall, making a door frame unnecessary thanks to the pivotica pro. Installation is thus almost as simple as everyday use.
