Invisidoor 2.0: the standard in invisible interior doors

Invisidoor is the name of the argenta package for incorporating interior doors invisibly, tightly in the wall and without visible techniques. For swing doors, this consists of an aluminum frame for plastering that can be equipped with the compatible argenta invisible neo hinges and lock plate. With this custom-orderable system, argenta has already made a name for itself in the field of high-end design when it comes to invisibly incorporated interior doors.

Universal profiles

With the invisidoor 2.0, the invisible door fitting specialist goes one step further. The profiles for the door frames to be plastered in are now available in two universal variants, one for internal and one for external doors. These profiles can be ordered in lengths of 6 m for door leaves of 40 mm and are suitable for both the lock and the hinge side as well as the top profile of the door frame. As a joiner, you can cut all parts to size with a mitre for interior doors up to a maximum of 4000 mm high and 1250 mm wide. A supplied internal corner connection stretches itself completely so that you can connect the mitres easily and nicely. This is achieved by simply tightening 1 Allen screw. There are no more screw holes when installing an invisidoor door frame. Furthermore, the external profiling has been designed in such a way that the door frame can now also be fixed with window anchors. The dovetail profiling also ensures better adhesion of PUR and fiber-reinforced plaster - just as with the original invisidoor profiles.

Adaptors for lock and hinges

In the U-profile of the door frame you can slide the adaptors for hinges and the door lock into place. Thanks to these adaptors, there are no longer any milled-out lock or hinge holes, so that the profile does not have to lose strength at any point. When finishing the mounted door frame with plasterboard or plaster, this has the great advantage that you do not have to reinforce where aluminum would otherwise have been milled out of the profile.

Filling in between the adaptors is done by clicking the cut-to-size cover profiles into the same U-profile. The seam that remains visible can be sealed and sanded flat as desired. Even after installation, it is still possible to swap the hinge and lock sides of an Invisidoor interior door without having to dismantle the entire door frame. So you do not have to decide in advance whether a door should open left or right. Providing an additional hinge is also perfectly possible after installation. In this case you only need to remove the cover profile and mount an additional hinge adapter. These adaptors are perfectly compatible with Argenta's invisible neo hinges.

Invisidoor 2.0 wins IF Design Award 2020

After winning the IF Design Award for the new Invisidoor S in 2019, argenta is once again winning awards this year. This time, the same international award goes to the Invisidoor 2.0. For argenta, this means another international recognition for the innovative character of the brand in general and for this innovative concept in particular.

Invisidoor S: Sliding door in the same plane as the wall

When closed, the door leaf of the Invisidoor S (with the 'S' of 'Slide') falls perfectly into the same plane of the wall in which it is embedded. This makes it completely invisible on one side of the wall, making even a handle unnecessary. When opened, the door leaf slides away into the wall: a space-saving feature that also characterizes all other argenta pocket doors. The groove left in the wall with the sliding door in the closed position is thereby sealed by a moving cover profile. This sliding door system can be used for wooden sliding doors up to 80 kg and is equipped as standard with a "softclose" and "auto-eject" system for easier operation. All parts of the incorporated door hardware are always easily accessible for disassembly and adjustment.

ROB Punch: glass sliding doors up to 150 kg invisibly incorporated

Room-high sliding doors are also interesting in a glass version for contemporary interiors in offices, lofts and living rooms. With a runner profile on or invisibly built into the ceiling (ceiling mounting), this of course makes the whole look even more sleek. This ceiling assembly can even be combined with a fixed glass wall without any problems. But there is also a top profile available for mounting against the wall. And that for sliding glass doors weighing up to 150 kg with glass thicknesses of 8, 10 and 12 mm. Both the door and all its components are always dismountable, even built into the ceiling and in combination with a fixed glass wall. A ceiling cover profile completes the whole, and sliding glass doors are always height adjustable thanks to this door fitting even while fully built in. All parts are manufactured in anodized, black anodized or anodized aluminum with stainless steel look, which combines perfectly with the glass. This sliding door hardware is available without or with "softclose" system. In the latter case, the glass door automatically brakes both when opening and closing to avoid an abrupt stop. The fact that no recess in the glass is required for mounting this softclose system - the glass clamp is clamped onto the glass without glue - further underlines the ease of mounting this sliding door hardware.
