Fire-resistant doors mb-78ei from Aluprof with European classification in class ei1

We hereby inform you that Aluprof SA has received the European classification reports according to standard EN 13501-2 for the system MB-78EI in class EI1. This makes it possible to market fire-resistant exterior doors in classes EI130 and EI160 and to mark the end product with the CE mark. Some countries within the European Union - such as Belgium and Luxembourg - require that fire resistance class EI1 for fire-resistant exterior doors.

We would also like to point out that in 2018 Aluprof SA received the ATG Benor certificates for the system MB-78EI from the Belgian research institute Butgb that entitle it to market fire-resistant interior doors in classes EI130 and EI160 and mark these products with the ATG Benor marking. The CE and ATG Benor markings in class EI1 allow Aluprof SA to offer a wide range of fire-resistant interior and exterior doors and partitions of the MB-78EI system.

Aluminum systems for fire-resistant glass walls and doors are mainly used in public buildings, but can also be used in single-family homes. In case of fire, they ensure the safety of evacuated persons and rescue teams and minimize material damage caused by the fire. Basically, they are an effective barrier to fire, smoke and high temperatures, which is why they must have the appropriate fire resistance rating, which is associated with thermal insulation, fire resistance and smoke density.

The MB-78EI system from Aluprof SA is used for interior and exterior walls and fire doors and is characterized by very good thermal insulation (Uf from 1.60 W/(m²K)) and acoustic insulation (up to 40 dB).
