Proprietary door combines aluminum structure with various infill options

The newest member of the Xinnix family is a proprietary door, specifically the X8, which combines an aluminum structure with various infill options. Xinnix also offers a wide range of infills, but with a proprietary infill, one chooses a 100% personalized door. It is therefore an ideal product to create an eye-catcher in a building. At Polyclose, Xinnix also introduced the new FB50 mounting profile for easy integration of the door systems in projects where, for example, the corridors are already fully plastered.

Xinnix's door systems fit perfectly with the trend toward sleek and minimalist interiors. After all, these frames are "invisibly" concealed in the wall, leaving only the door and the wall visible. No visible framing, hinges or other unevenness can be seen. Meanwhile, the manufacturer offers systems for regular swing and sliding doors, as well as fire-resistant and acoustic doors, standard or customized. 

Own door

At Polyclose, Xinnix went one step further and launched its own door on the market for the first time. After all, the X8 is a combination of an aluminum structure and various infill options, which thanks to its light weight is also easy and smooth to assemble. 

"With X8, one actually chooses a total package with a frame, a door leaf, the finish, the certified Xinnix hinges and a magnetic lock. This door is available in a pull or push version with an exclusive thickness of 60 mm. It can be supplied with a stylish, white Emme or a sleek, black Anna handle and matching trimmings to complete the package," says manager Chris Vermeulen. 

"Since a modular system is used, there is no painting after installation. This system is available in a standard format, but also in a room-high version with a door leaf up to 1230 mm wide and 3500 mm high. The finishing possibilities are endless. Does one opt for Dibond, HDF, Plexi or HPL? Everything can be completely adapted to the customer's wishes. Thus, it is also possible to produce a 100% personalized door. Moreover, if one uses the same finish for door and wall, everything blends seamlessly and the interior is taken to the next level."

New mounting profile

In addition to launching this innovative solution, Xinnix's R&D department also worked on elements that optimize the implementation of the existing profiles. One example is the FB50 mounting profile, ideal for integrating Xinnix door systems between parallel walls in long corridors or applications in locations that are already plastered out. 

Indeed, the Xinnix frame can simply be inserted without further finishing or filler work. The finished frame thickness is 50 mm. 

"This new profile is combinable with all X240 versions with A24 hinges, different lock types and a door closer for single doors. Because an additional front fixing is required in the X240 frames, one should mention when ordering, that FB50 is chosen. This type of mounting cannot be combined with fire-resistant frames and Tectus TE340 hinges cannot be used either because the depth is too great to fit into this mounting profile," explains sales manager Laurens Vermeulen. 

"To determine the installation dimensions, one must consider the door leaf and then add 38 mm in height and 70 mm in width, respectively. Since filler work is no longer required, the processor saves a lot of time. In short: a perfect tool for installing a door between parallel walls without the need for further finishing."
