HOPPE at BAU 2023: Innovative solutions and modern designs

It's finally here again: the sector is meeting at the BAU 2023 trade fair in Munich. From April 17-22, the most important international trade fair for the construction industry will once again take place. HOPPE will be present as usual in hall B4, booth 339, presenting a range of new products and innovative solutions in the areas of design, installation technology and Smart Home. Of particular note is the eWindow handle ConnectSense, which not only queries the window status but also recognizes burglary attempts and reports them to the Smart Home control center. In terms of design, we present our new Kompakt window handle, which is available without a rosette. The window handle is inserted onto a substructure and completely covers it. With the installation technology SnelstiftPlus for standard roses, HOPPE is demonstrating how handle and key roses can be assembled screwlessly and quickly. In addition, visitors can take a first look at a new Secustik®-solution from HOPPE.

eWindow handle ConnectSense - keeps the window in view

Those who furnish a Smart Home want to make living more comfortable, save energy and live more safely. With the eWindow handle ConnectSense, HOPPE offers the right solution for reliably monitoring window states. It recognizes burglary attempts at the window and reports them to the Smart Home control center. In addition, both the handle position (closed, tilted, opened) and the window sash position (closed, opened) are recognized and reported. Thus, scenarios can also be defined with the eWindow handle ConnectSense that provide more energy efficiency and comfort. If the window is opened for ventilation, for example, the heating or air conditioning can be switched off automatically. The standard Z-Wave Plus radio protocol is used for radio transmission. The eWindow handle ConnectSense is available in the timeless corner shape Amsterdam. In addition to the classic colors matt stainless steel and traffic white, the trend color matt black is also available.

eDoor fitting FingerScan - finger instead of key

HOPPE presents the new generation of its eDoor hardware FingerScan: the finger scan modules now come from the manufacturer ekey biometric systems. As before, the scanning module is ergonomically sensible integrated directly into the exterior door hardware. "Unlocking" and opening the front door can thus be performed - in contrast to operating scanner fields next to the entrance door - in one hand movement by placing a finger on the sensor of the scanning module. No key, key card or numerical code is needed for access - loss, forgetting or misuse are excluded. Setting user profiles is done via a smartphone with the ekey bionyx app. This allows easy management of user profiles and additional functions such as receiving access notifications or opening the door remotely when on the move.

The eDoor hardware FingerScan is available in numerous new models to match the current design trends in the surfaces matte stainless steel and matte black.

HOPPE Kompakt window handle - reduced design without rosette

Sleek design and understated elegance are often central to modern interior styles. Fittingly, with the new Kompakt window handle, HOPPE offers a discreet design that requires no rosette. A minimalist design that is trendy and fits well with many living concepts.

The HOPPE Kompakt window handle is inserted onto a substructure, covers it completely and the handle lies directly against the window profile. The four-way screw fastening of the substructure guarantees stable fastening to window profiles of all materials, whether aluminum, wood or plastic.

The new technology is available in the Austin, Hamburg and Toulon aluminum series, each in the standard and lockable versions. You can currently choose from the surfaces silver (F1), bronze (F4), steel (F9) and the trend colors matte black (F9714M) and traffic white (F9016).

Handles with angular shapes - Austin, Miami and Toulon

Clean lines, elegant design and angular shapes: angular handles are trendy and ideal for modern furnished rooms. HOPPE is presenting the handle series Austin, Toulon and Miami at the BAU trade fair. The handles of the Austin series are consistently linear in design and go well with sleek designs and structures. The angular shape of the top of the Toulon series contrasts with the grip recesses on the inside of the handle, which provide a pleasant feel when held. Both series are available as a product family. The large handle Miami is designed for room-high doors and incorporates the changing dimensions between door and room. A range of attractive surfaces is available for the series, including the trend color matte black.

Quick pinPlus - now also for standard roses

The tried-and-tested screwless plug-in connection SnelstiftPlus is now also available for furniture with standard roses. With this, HOPPE offers a decisive assembly advantage: the handle and key roses of the Hamburg, Luxembourg and Verona aluminum series can be assembled screwless and quickly. On the prepared door, both the roses with supporting lugs and the door handles are simply plugged together.

The continuous supporting lugs of the handle and key roses each consist of a pin and a sleeve made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic. Sliding them into each other creates a backlash-free and stable fixing. No special preparation of the door is required. Only the continuous supporting lugs of the roses require two guide bores (Ø 7 mm).

A disassembly aid is included to allow the rosettes to be separated from each other again. This is inserted into the handle or key rose and rotated 45 degrees. By pulling forcefully, the plug-in connection is loosened and the two rosettes are separated.
