We have been serving healthcare institutions for more than 15 years now, which is why that sector accounts for approximately 70% of our sales," Schildkamp outlines. The most common problem to be solved is realizing controlled access at care facilities. "Intramural is easier to arrange, but extramural, i.e. individual care homes, involves a lot more. We have more than 15 years of experience in this and often say that we take care away from worry. Whether it's elderly care, care for the demented, or heavy care, the problem doesn't change, but the products are constantly changing. Therefore, institutions can no longer see the forest for the trees and prefer to work with a partner who provides exactly the right access control solution based on requirements, wishes and needs. Moreover, they want to do business with a party that seeks a total solution in A-quality materials. These last longer, work reliably and can be serviced for a long time."

Customized solutions in key problems

Each situation requires its own solution, i.e. customization. "We can make a responsible choice for the end user because we work brand-independently," continued Schildkamp. "We supply access control, electric locks, intercom and door automation. Even the whole door, if necessary. The access medium can vary, it can be a card, a tag or a digital key controlled from an app. We make sure the access rights work on locks on the inside and outside of a building."

Some hotels even send their customers a digital key after online booking and payment, which gives exclusive and temporary access to the booked accommodation via an app. It can be that easy."
