Top class corner fittings

The self-closing Alva corner fitting, available in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel and black, is the basis for sleek, stylish, top-class glass doors. Especially in combination with the aforementioned Patch elements. 

"This corner hardware system is among the best
in its class," confirms Frank Bouwman, general manager on behalf of Bohle Benelux. "The hydraulics for the self-closing function are housed in the slim hardware itself. The Alva EN 3 also has functions such as opening and closing damping." 

Alva's upper corner hardware has the same dimensions as the lower one. This results in a harmonious whole and a very clean design. The system therefore fits within any interior. "Also, the closing speed and lock are infinitely adjustable, so that maximum walking comfort is obtained," Bouwman continues. "In addition, the high-quality adjusting screws allow multiple adjustments of the closing functions over a long period of time."

Versatile and convenient

For optimum comfort during installation of partitions and doors, the craftsman goes for FrameTec Select 2.0 from Bohle. "The hinge points at FrameTec Select 2.0 are simply pushed into the multi-functional channel in the profile," explains Bouwman. 

"Then the hinges are fixed with two screws. The assembly of the profiles is simplified thanks to the presence of stable corner connectors for frame and glazing profiles." 

Because the processor does not need to mill when installing the door hinges and strike plate, the FrameTec DIN door leaf can be used on the left and right. Furthermore, the frame can be fitted with both tempered and laminated glass doors from 8 to 10.76 mm and with a rebate depth of 24 mm. To optimally connect the frame with the fixed glazing, Bohle recommends the matching two-piece glazing profiles. 

"During assembly, the glazing is held in the upper glazing profile in one piece, protecting it from dangerous tipping," Bouwman said. 

"The two-part glazing profile, which is mounted on the floor and wall, consists of a base profile and an insertion strip. These ensure that the glazing can then be secured with a wedge seal. A nice little extra that guarantees super-safe assembly."
