From Tuesday, March 19 to Thursday, March 21, 2019, you can find out about the various ways of sustainable heating, ventilation and cooling at the Duurzaam Verwarmd trade fair. Over 200 specialized companies will present their new products. Ventilation specialist Duco is also present with a stand in the Expo Haarlemmermeer. During Duurzaam Verwarmd - which takes place simultaneously with the Solar Solutions trade fair - Duco will focus almost entirely on the ventilation heat pump DucoBox Eco.
Energy is becoming more and more expensive. Sustainable heating is no longer a luxury. Hendrik Dejonghe, marketing manager at Duco, explains: 'In addition, the Netherlands has to get rid of gas, which poses enormous challenges. In Duco's vision, the use of a heat pump is crucial in this respect.'
Numerous seminars
In addition to technical solutions and innovations, you can go to Duurzaam Verwarmd for advice and reliable information. Over 80 specialized companies present their new products. 'There are dozens of seminars and knowledge sessions. The energy sector has therefore not stood still in recent years. Duco will also be there on Tuesday specifically to give an info session on residential ventilation with active heat recovery,' says Dejonghe.
All-electric, c'est chic
Central comes the DucoBox Eco in an all-electric setup. 'Here, our ventilation heat pump DucoBox Eco is linked to a 300-liter technical buffer tank. Both form a perfect match with the home of the future. The vessel contains two electrical resistors that can be switched alternately from each other. The control module switches on the electrical elements at the moment when the ventilation heat pump with indoor and outdoor air can no longer maintain the vessel's temperature," Dejonghe clarifies.
Active heat recovery
The DucoBox Eco can comfortably heat small or well-insulated homes with a maximum heat load of 5 kW and even prepare hot tap water for shower and bath, a central heating boiler is no longer needed. 'Our ventilation heat pump ventilates naturally and compensates the further energy required with fresh outside air. In this way, maximum attention is paid to the occupant's health and comfort with a nod to the environment. In 2018, many people already chose underfloor heating in combination with a heat pump. Logical, because a heat pump works extremely economically when the output temperature of the water is around 35°C - and let that be precisely the average temperature of underfloor heating. Our DucoBox Eco can heat your home and tap water just like a central heating boiler, but in a greener way," concludes Dejonghe.
