The most complete program for the glass processor

The Bohle Group, with its parent company in Germany, was founded in 1923. It now employs 400 people at its headquarters in Germany and fourteen locations worldwide, including the Veenendaal site responsible for the Benelux countries. The company develops and produces a full range of fittings, cutting technology (manual and industrial), glass bonding, surface technology, tools and glass processing machines.

"We are increasingly developing and producing our own products with as many advantages as possible for the glass processor," says general manager Frank Bouwman. "Think of easy assembly and ease of installation.
For example, we developed the VetroMount glass balustrade system. This features a unique glass mounting system based on the cable tie principle. The system is equipped with cable ties that you use to clamp the glass panels. So you can assemble it very easily and quickly. Adjustments can then be made from the walking side. This system is now available for all common glass thicknesses." 

Safety first

Just last year, Bohle received a red dot Design Award for this patented innovation. Not only is the glass easy to install, the profile has also been designed for ultimate convenience. For installation, only a simple concrete screw is required every 400 mm, where comparable systems require anchoring every 200 mm. 

"This makes the work easier, saves time, manpower and, above all, expensive anchors. And if once a glass plate needs to be replaced, a clever release mechanism makes it easy to remove." 

Available are floor profiles U and F for top mounting, there is a U profile for side mounting and from the end of March there will follow a Y profile, also for side mounting. A cover profile with narrow rubber is optionally available, available in aluminum and stainless steel colors.

The advantages of this efficient system speak for themselves: scaffolding is no longer needed to install the glass balustrade. This makes assembly much easier and cheaper. Customers also immediately see the advantages of the system. Bouwman: "We notice that more and more of our customers are switching to the new profile."

Total supplier

By constantly expanding its product range, Bohle is developing into a total supplier. "This allows the customer to combine his order for different projects with us and again saves shipping costs. We now supply the most complete program for the glass worker: from tools to profiles, everything to do with glass. Everything can be found on our website and also ordered directly there." 

More and more products from the extensive range are being developed and produced by Bohle itself. Bouwman: "All our own products are assembled in Germany and meet the strict German quality standards. So, the quality is also really up to German standards."   

Hard work is underway to offer even more to the glass processor. "We are constantly responding to needs from the market," says Bouwman. "For example, we are currently already working in Germany on a heavier profile, loadable up to 3 kilonewtons. These new profiles are applicable, for example, for stadiums and other public places where many people gather."
