Terrace roof and carport with character

Enjoying your patio intensely every day of the year, that's what everyone wants. But it is often too wet, too cold or too hot. With a terrace roof or veranda you can easily solve that problem. Skylux, known for its skylights and skylights, now also offers high quality aluminum profiles for a conservatory roof, patio cover or even a carport. At Polyclose, the manufacturer will present the Climax Panorama terrace roof and the ClimaCar carport.

At Skylux, they want to bring as much daylight into people's lives as possible. The company has been developing and producing its well-known skylights since the 70s. Today, the product range has been significantly expanded with skylights, gutters, PVC curbs and high-quality aluminum profiles. These are used for the construction of thermally broken roofs for a veranda, but also for a carport or a simple terrace cover.

Terrace canopy and porch

Climalux is a budget-friendly self-supporting aluminum profile system, available in a wide range of different colors. This terrace canopy with a projection of up to 4.5 meters is available from stock in standard sizes, but can also be custom-made. Climacrown combines the profiles of the Climalux with a modular cornice. The height of this cornice depends on the depth of the roof and is built up in 75-millimeter increments. Due to the high-quality finish, no screws are visible anywhere on the outside.

"Climax Panorama can handle a width of up to 7 meters without an intermediate post, providing an excellent view to the garden without any obstacles. It therefore forms a natural extension of the home," says sales manager Jan Desmet. "For example, this terrace canopy, equipped with sliding glass doors on both sides, was recently attached to the garden side of a contemporary villa and offers the owners an abundance of relaxation just a few inches from the swimming pond."

Sliding elements and LED lighting

To further optimize the user's comfort, these patio covers can be closed, for example, with sliding glass elements or equipped with LED lighting.

"Climaglide is a custom-made profile system for single-glazed sliding glass elements. It provides protection from wind and rain, which adds significant value to the canopy. The sliding elements can be slid open to one or two sides, creating a large free opening. However, the user can also opt for a take-away system, where each glass panel can be moved separately from the rest," explains the sales manager.

"The lighting profile Climaled, which is discreetly mounted under the supports of the canopy, is equipped with dimmable LED spots. With the included remote control, the user can always create the desired lighting atmosphere: from moodily soft to functional
bright. The pre-wired profile is very easy and quick to install and provides ideal lighting at any time."

ClimaCar consists of self-supporting aluminum profiles and a curved roof construction. The four pillars make it easier to drive in and out, put a car seat in the car or load suitcases and bags.

Carport

In addition to pergolas, verandas and patio covers, Skylux has recently started focusing on carports. ClimaCar consists of self-supporting profiles in aluminum. The four pillars make it easier to drive in and out, put a car seat in the car or load suitcases and bags. Cars equipped with a roof box or bicycle rack also fit into this carport thanks to the curved roof construction, which can be ordered up to 3.25 meters free height. The ClimaCar provides protection from sun, storm, rain, hail and snow. The UV polycarbonate sheets create a cooler space in summer. ClimaCar fits perfectly with any house as a carport, especially thanks to a large choice of colors. Skylux offers standard colors - white and anthracite gray - but other colors will soon be available.
