Schipper Kozijnen is proud to announce a disruptive recruitment campaign to attract the attention of job seekers in the Netherlands. This makes Schipper Kozijnen the first company in the Netherlands to start paying people to apply to their organization.
The recruitment campaign, which launches August 24, is a first in the labor market in the Netherlands. "Schipper Kozijnen values a good job application. A process of getting to know each other, taking each other into what we stand for and matching ambitions. This is an intensive process and we are happy to offer something in return," said Sjoerd Sneek, HR manager of Schipper Kozijnen.
Interested candidates for the mechanic position are invited to participate in the paid application process. In this way, Schipper Kozijnen hopes to get a larger number of responses from which they can select the most suitable candidates. All participants who are invited to apply will receive €250 for their time and effort, regardless of whether they are hired or not.
"Mechanics in particular are being pulled hard all over the country and a random mechanic can choose from as many as 10 vacancies on average," said Sjoerd Sneek. "A job interview alone can be very valuable in underlining the benefits of working at Schipper Kozijnen. With this approach, we want to show that we are willing to invest in the people who are interested in our company and make the effort to put in the time and energy."

Candidates without experience can participate in an exclusive in-house training program that Schipper Kozijnen has developed in cooperation with construction training provider ESPEQ. Within one year you will be prepared for permanent employment as an assembly worker. A unique aspect of this training program is that you will be paid a salary from day one.
