"A winter outing to discover innovative solutions. That's how Roto invited the window and door manufacturers to Ghent. The fact that there was snow was purely coincidental. But the fact that "innovation" was the code word on their stand was entirely up to them. Among other things, the manufacturer showed off the Safe A Tandeo lock, the Solid B hinges, the NX Designo Tilt&Turn hardware and the TiltSafe burglary prevention system. The mechanical multi-point lock locks doors automatically as soon as they are pushed shut, making them RC2 and even RC3 compatible. The main feature of the Solid B roller hinges is the fully internal adjustment mechanism, which allows them to be adjusted in all directions but always remain the same in appearance. There is no height difference between the parts and they always lie in a straight, vertical line. With the unique concealed hardware, a tilt function on the primary window sash allows the user to naturally ventilate the room without difficulty, while both window sashes can also be opened as a door. Finally, thanks to TiltSafe, a Tilt&Turn window is always safe, even in the tilt position (RC2). Consumers can therefore ventilate their homes with a safe feeling.
Visitors could also discover just how easy it is to open and lock the Patio Inowa sash thanks to its premium ball-bearing technology. Wooden window manufacturers, by the way, can purchase this premium sliding technology as part of the a package that includes the Roto hardware system, milling tools from Leitz and a sill from DTS.
