When it comes to custom machining machines for PVC window and door profiles, German machine manufacturer Stürtz has been a household name for years. At Fensterbau Frontale, the exhibition of welding machines with names such as HSM-TURBO-DRIVE-Premium impressed the numerous trade visitors.

Marcel Boender, Sales Manager Benelux, stands proudly next to the machine with a satisfied smile on his face. He shares the joy of the many Dutch visitors, "We are delighted that we can now seamlessly weld the complicated and higher profiles typical of the Dutch market. This improvement reflects our commitment to go one step further for our customers. In Germany, the profiles are usually lower, which makes processing seem easier."

According to Marcel, the Dutch market differs from that of surrounding countries anyway. "While machine manufacturers abroad often focus on customers with larger production volumes, Stürtz in the Netherlands offers customized solutions such as fittings machines for the domestic market. These are usually semi-automatic fittings centers in which the fittings are inserted manually but screwed on automatically. This combination of man and machine optimizes the machining process considerably."
