Polyclose: the biennial trade fair focused on everything that opens and closes on and in the facade. The fair offers an overview of all moving elements, including gates and fences.
"When you say, 'At Roto, the needs of customers are at the center,' this results in convenience, especially in the areas of: comfort, design, efficiency and security and we are happy to show that, among a number of other things, at the Polyclose in Ghent. All our products deliver multiple benefits."
Speaking is Gerry Claassens, Head of Customers and Markets BeNeLux at Roto, the company focuses on consulting, producing and supplying window and door hardware. In terms of both products and processes, the company has in-depth expertise in the manufacture of hardware and its integration into windows and doors. This enables window manufacturers to produce the best and most affordable final solution.
When the company refers to efficiency, this refers primarily to the "total cost of ownership. Such as, for example, the use of fewer items or the speed and simplicity of installation, i.e., the handling time with which the products can be assembled provides savings. Security focuses mainly on burglary safety such as SKG or RC, for example. When we look at design, this refers, for example, to appearance, such as concealed hinges. 'Comfort in use' mainly refers to ease of operation, high wind and water tightness and something as practical as a low step.
Gerry: "In addition to presenting our four product groups (window, door, sliding, equipment), we are also showing DEVENTER: the sealing solutions for windows and doors with many application possibilities and high scores achieved in terms of wind, water and noise tightness, as well as smoke resistance and fire retardancy."

"Most people know us from the turn and tilt systems, but we also have other specialized products that we like to highlight. And the trade fair provides a nice stage for that. For example, there is the new Roto Solid C, concealed door hinges that can simultaneously carry doors weighing up to 140 kilograms and are also easy to assemble," says Gerry.
"In addition to the solutions and ideas we present, our booth is also special. It is designed as a mini-villa, resembling Roto City: our tool that provides clear advice. This technological tool shows that every building, from flats to apartments or houses, has its own applications in terms of windows and doors. This tool helps perfectly to demonstrate the operation and application of our after all quite technical product in practice. The visual display with moving images, also allows the processors of our products to see what it all means and which elements can be applied."
"The trade fair is successful for us if the fair visitors are aware that Roto offers a total solution in the area of windows and doors. This includes turn and tilt windows, sliding systems, multi-point locking systems, hinges, lower sills and handles through to glazing packers and seals. Here we use our solutions for all markets in the window and door industry, both for PVC, wood and aluminum. Especially for the aluminum market there is an additional service: Roto Object Business, a group of engineers and project managers with special expertise in developing and implementing "custom made" solutions for challenging applications. In practice, the results of participation in the trade fair cannot be measured directly. Nor is that what it's about. It's about being visible. Especially now," Gerry concludes.
