Do you ever place glass elements under an overhang within a maximum of 2 meters from the facade line? VIAVAC has developed a clever lifting tool for this purpose, namely the VIAVAC Counter Balancer.
The VIAVAC Counter Balancer (CBL-1000) is designed to perform any assembly up to 1,000 kg within the facade line. Through a counterweight, the glass element is set in the correct position, allowing you to accurately position the element.
The VIAVAC glass suction lifters and the Counter Balancer are excellent combinations. With the VIAVAC GBX, you can hoist glass elements weighing up to 800 kg. And if you are forced to place small glass elements directly under the overhang, you can use the VIAVAC GBL for this purpose. With the shortened suspension eye, lifting in confined spaces is a piece of cake.
VIAVAC's glass pistons are 360-degree rotatable and have a 90-degree tilt mechanism. Rotating and tilting comes in handy when glass elements need to be placed under an overhang and on windows where the glass battens are mounted on the inside of the frame. Curved glass can also be installed quickly and easily, thanks to the VIAVAC compact GB2-300/R800.
Do you have a truck-mounted crane, mobile crane or mini-crane? Then you can easily use the VIAVAC Counter Balancer for installation. Due in part to its size, the Counter Balancer is easy to transport.
