Specialist in window profiles develops own aluminum profile for facade cladding

We also see this in residential construction, where plastic and aluminum window frames were cream-colored for a long time, later took on a black tone, and today are increasingly taking on the Look & Feel of wood. Using a high-quality colored film, Colormatics has been adding color to window profiles made of aluminum and PVC for almost 15 years. Due to the increasing demand for solutions for facade cladding, the specialist from Maasmechelen also developed its own series of clad aluminum tube profiles with Color Wall.

Colormatics has been supplying high-quality films for the cladding of PVC and aluminum window profiles since 2007, and in the meantime has built up a very extensive know-how and expertise. "We can color or pattern any type of profile of any brand. To do this, we offer a wide range of films in more than 200 colors and wood decors. We have most RAL colors in stock and other shades can be produced on request," says Managing Director Jean-Pierre Konings. "The delivery time for standard profiles is between 2 and 4 weeks, but is always determined in consultation with the customer. If required, we can stock profiles for customers and deliver just-in-time."

Proprietary aluminum cladding

Lately, Colormatics has also been investing in the development of its own products such as accessories for the window industry and the Color Garden series of colored garden fences, which consist of aluminum posts and plastic
panels, covered with foils in the color or decor of your choice. 

"While in the early years we were only involved in film work for cladding plastic window frames, the demand for applications for cladding has increased dramatically in recent years. Many building owners would like wooden solutions, but are reluctant to maintain them. Aluminum profiles with a wood decor film then offer a solution. That's why we also developed our Color Wall cladding," says the manager. "For a housing project in the Netherlands, for example, we supplied 2000 m² of tubular profiles with a wood decor film on behalf of Alwiti bv. Even the wooden pillars, which are often used as facade accents at fast food chains, are now giving way to more maintenance-friendly aluminum profiles with the same wood look."

Nothing comes naturally

So at Colormatics, they are not sitting still. After all, growth doesn't come naturally. A team of almost 20 enthusiastic employees works very hard to meet the demands and delivery deadlines of the customers. The company is also looking for additional partners to strengthen the Color Garden products in the market.
