Sensor measures temperature, humidity and CO2 levels while ensuring optimal learning environment

In schools, nurseries and similar buildings, the air quality requirements are high. After all, many people spend several hours there in a limited area. Sufficient ventilation is decisive to achieve a healthy indoor climate. The multisensor HAUTAU MS for temperature, relative humidity and CO2 is doing its part here.

Opening windows by hand can transmit bacteria, germs and viruses. Automated systems increase user comfort and safety. Regular opening of such power-operated windows provides quick and efficient ventilation without the need for people to do anything themselves.

Temperature, humidity and CO2

HAUTAU develops and manufactures high-quality solutions for the automation of window systems. The multisensor HAUTAU MS ensures the proper functioning of this ventilation. It continuously measures room temperature, relative humidity and CO2-content in the air. If these values deviate from the preset parameters, this sensor adjusts the opening and closing frequency of the windows. The values can always be adjusted to the individual needs of the user using the push buttons on the sensor. The recorded values of the air quality are continuously displayed on the sensor. Users can still operate the system themselves with a button and, of course, open and close the windows manually. Optional sensors, connected to the building management system, ensure that the windows close automatically in the event of rain or wind.

 For heavily used areas

The multisensor can not only be combined with HAUTAU smoke extraction and ventilation systems, but can be coupled brand- and system-independent to all control systems with a 24V input. Since no additional button for ventilation is required here, costs are saved. The system can also be integrated into existing systems. Thus, this climate monitoring system mainly ensures good air quality in intensively used rooms, such as schools and nurseries. This ensures an optimal learning environment, the health and comfort of students, teachers and educators. In addition, demand-controlled ventilation has a positive impact on energy bills and one also thinks about the environment.
