Since 2015, the screen awning heroal VS Z has been a standard solution in the field of external awning systems. In the meantime, the range has been expanded with the heroal VS and the heroal VS C. Now heroal has realized further optimizations to adapt the system solutions in terms of design, function and installation to the ever-growing requirements of processors, architects and clients, as well as to expand the application possibilities.
Especially in project construction, the demand for screen solutions for glass surfaces, which noticeably optimize the room climate in the building, is increasing. Whereas until recently screen shading systems were possible for areas of 15 square meters at a width of five meters, even larger areas can now be created. The heroal VS Z is now available in element widths of up to six meters. This allows generous areas of up to 18 square meters (at a width of six meters and a height of three meters) to be shaded with screen fabric. These dimensions are made possible by a new 100-millimeter diameter shaft.
A special feature is the new guide rail of the heroal VS Z with a view width of only 25 millimeters. The guide rail is screwed invisibly and is suitable for mounting against the wall, on the window or in the day. The fastening is also designed to be more time-saving: the guide rail can be clicked onto the wall mounting profile and allows easy alignment of the mounting profile to the structure. If the guide rail still needs to be built in, to completely conceal it from view, this can now be achieved thanks to the inward-facing cover. A new, highly stable side cover with steel motor bearing and aluminum side cover completes the 25-millimeter system.
For even more choice, the color and material selection of screen fabrics for the systems heroal VS Z, heroal VS C (with stainless steel cord guide) and heroal VS (with guide through the bottom frame) have been further expanded. Four new textiles are now available in addition to the existing fabrics. These are Sergé 3%, Sergé 600 Blockout Lunar, Sergé 600 Blockout Solar and Soltis 86 14%. This makes even more full or partial blackout options available. Depending on the fabric chosen, up to 100% of solar and UV radiation is blocked.
In order to reduce pleat formation on very wide, narrow or high elements, a new bottom rail has been developed. Different ballast options with one or two ballast strips and an optional additional stabilization by means of a rectangular tube ensure that the tension of the screen fabric is optimized. The new underframe has the same approach height as the underframe from the existing range (Type II). This makes combining these bottom frames perfectly possible. If dismantling of the screen awning is necessary, this is possible without any problems thanks to an optimized bearing plug. Thanks to the new disassembly ring, the tube can be easily removed from the box.
New possibilities are also being developed for door and window combinations. An installation of linked elements with different element heights can now be realized with a continuous cabinet.
In addition, for a completely concealed view, a new cabinet was developed in 105 and 125 millimeter sizes. It requires no additional grooves for ceiling and wall guidance.
In case an overhaul at the bottom is necessary, the FMB cabinet system with a size of 105 millimeters will be available in the future. This represents a space-saving alternative to the existing FMB cabinet size of 125 millimeters.
