"With the profile system, processors can make all elements common in the Netherlands. From simple windows to outward opening doors, which can also be supplied with top or side lights if required. Even old-fashioned sliding windows are among the possibilities." Curved or angled window frames are no problem either, he says. "The profile system has a 16° or 6° view, also in combination with the RHL connection. The profile system is also very stable and suitable for both residential construction and modular construction (prefab homes, chalet construction, etc.)."

Complete recycling in your own hands

Combined with a sophisticated all-round frame seal, it creates unsurpassed wind, water and air tightness, Van Houten said. "A Class 9A (in accordance with DIN- EN 12208) certification guarantees excellent resistance to extreme weather conditions. In addition, this puts us in line with the ambitions of sustainable construction of more and more clients." 

The use of 40-75% recycled material (EcoPuls label) during the production of SYNEGO-NL profile systems contributes to a positive environmental footprint. "Plastic can easily be reintroduced into the production process ten times without sacrificing quality. REHAU takes its responsibility in this, by keeping the entire recycling process in its own hands. Old frames, windows and doors are actively collected by us, cleaned, finely ground, sorted and recovered, after which they are reused in the core of our profiles. This alone enables us to save 97,000 tons of CO₂ save money."

Over 400 design options

In addition to sustainability, aesthetics are also guaranteed. "Thanks to the KALEIDO COLOR program, architects and end users can choose from more than 400 color and design finishes," says Van Houten. "With this, we offer a suitable solution for every furnishing and every living style. Here it is even possible to color-coat the rebate completely all around, for a uniform look of the doors and windows." 

Within the KALEIDO color family, REHAU offers three options, whereby the SYNEGO-NL profiles are optionally coated with a high-quality color film with wood, solid and metallic motifs (KALEIDO FOIL), a multi-layer spray paint (KALEIDO PAINT) or a cladding with aluminum cladding profiles (KALEIDO COVER).
