Professional sealing and adhesive solutions for reliable window and facade installation

For all new construction, both residential and non-residential, all permit applications must meet the requirements for Nearly Energy Neutral Buildings (BENG) beginning this year. Strict requirements for energy performance and indoor climate also apply to renovations. Making buildings healthily airtight is therefore more necessary than ever, making connecting seams and the associated seals increasingly important. These seams must be sealed excellently, while also taking into account the technical and building physics requirements for a sustainable construction. Window and facade installation in high-rise projects

TEROSON offers a complete range of products tailored to high-rise applications, where windows and facades are often exposed to extreme conditions. TEROSON FO150 FOIL-TACK M+S is a special sealing strip, which is self-adhesive, water- and diffusion-tight over its entire surface and is specifically used on the warm sides of buildings for façade elements, windows, door connections and sealing of anchors. TEROSON FO 3 is a waterproof, diffusion-open sealing strip, which can even withstand driving rain, for use on the cold side of a building. Both products are compatible with bitumen and require no additional mechanical fixing. 

"Our TEROSON TA ALU sealing and repair tape is a unique product thanks to the combination of a butyl rubber-based layer with a plastic-aluminum composite strip, resulting in a solution with very high tear resistance, even with screw penetration. That makes this aluminum seal ideal for glass-to-glass connections with compression profiles, aluminum and metal window connections, the construction of skylights and conservatories, and the installation of ventilation and air conditioning systems," Tates adds. 

"TEROSON FO 2FR is our new waterproof, diffusion-open sealing strip. This flexible and elastic solution consists of a special technical plastic for use on windows, window sills and other elements in curtain walls. It is combined with the adhesive TEROSON AD KDS FR for a perfect connection on the outside of buildings. This complete solution has been tested and certified. This makes us the only one in Europe to have certified a sealing system (film and adhesive) to DIN EN 13501 flammability class B, s2, d0."

Solutions for an airtight home

TEROSON develops and produces solutions for high-rise applications, but of course also supplies products for sealing seams in homes and other low-rise projects. Thus, with TEROSON FO 1 and FO 50 FOIL-TACK, the specialist offers two complete self-adhesive and plasterable fleece solutions. These provide air- and wind-tight joints, respectively in exterior and interior air zones. Thanks to the innovative Henkel hot melt technology, they are repositionable after application. TEROSON EF 537 is a flexible, hardly flammable PU foam. Among other things, it is ideal for filling the joints around windows, exterior doors and window sills and for insulating structural components against heat, cold, drafts and noise. Whatever the application, together a beautiful concept is realized!
