'Makers' must be able to be proud of their work. As such, it should be perfect to perfection and stay that way for many years to come. Novatio has been developing and supplying solutions for the assembly, cleaning and repair of windows, doors and gates since 1978. The wide range includes lubricants, surface treatment, cleaning agents, bonding products. Under the motto "Novatio Made for Makers," the Olen-based company recently developed some new innovative solutions for corner bonding, sealing and anti-corrosion treatment.
At Novatio, the focus is on the care and aftercare of windows and doors, sectional doors, awnings, patio covers, .... The Belgian family business is an international player with more than 100 employees today, active in 28 countries, offering innovative solutions and concepts for maintenance and repair in construction, as well as in the industrial and automotive sectors. "With a team of technical consultants, we focus specifically on the windows and doors sector. We listen to market demands and convert those needs into a specific product. This does not involve mass production, but looking for specific solutions within a particular product group. To this end, we have our own R&D department and scientific lab in Olen, which is continuously working on optimizing existing products and developing new, innovative solutions," says brand manager Geert Vanlommel. "With more than 1,000 products for adhesives, sealing, maintenance, treatment and cleaning, we have the right solution for every specific challenge. We now offer a complete range for the preparation of the bonding process, during the production and assembly of windows and doors as well as for maintenance and repair. Together with our customers, we also developed maintenance boxes for aluminum and PVC windows, doors, gates and patio covers. These Maintenance boxes consist of products for cleaning, protection and lubrication. They are used on the shop floor of manufacturers, who also offer them to distributors. These in turn sell them to the end customer."
Novatio is an established player in the Benelux and continues to invest continuously in innovative products. Recently, they developed five new products for the window and door sector, namely:
"Everyone knows that correct preparation of workpieces is crucial for a perfect finish. For example, it is crucial to prevent corrosion in aluminum profiles. This is why we are introducing new protection products for the saw cuts of profiles and new bonding products for corner joints," states Geert Vanlommel - Novatio brand manager. "Moreover, these new solutions are Meko and isocyanate-free. Recently, some important chemicals have been classified as hazardous substances by the EU. Our products do not contain any known hazardous substances. This makes them not only more environmentally friendly, but also safer to use. Additional advantage: Because they are free of hazardous substances, no additional training is required for their handling."
