We all know what a magnet is because we encounter them every day. We use them to hang the shopping list on the refrigerator or to close closet doors and bags. In the ATRIUM® HS inviso M by HAUTAU, a magnet takes over an important function, providing more aesthetics, living and operating comfort.
HAUTAU is the world leader in sliding technology and automation around the window. The brand originated in 1910, when Wilhelm Hautau started developing hardware in a small workshop. Today the specialist offers a wide range of products, which are used all over the world. Innovation takes center stage. Thus, ATRIUM® HS an innovative solution for precise lifting and sliding of both light elements and extremely large wings up to 330 kg, in tandem version even up to 440 kg.
HAUTAU introduced in 2020 the new ATRIUM® HS inviso M, which is distinguished from other solutions by discreet locking parts, an uninterrupted view of the environment and a free passage without conspicuous hardware.
The fully concealed locking system with magnetic locking pin ensures free passage without interfering locking components when the lift-slide systems are open.
Modern buildings with large window elements and wide passages especially benefit from the new locking technology. The locking pin initially remains hidden and lies in one plane with the door leaf. When closing, it is pulled out by the powerful magnet in the sash.
Only then can the door be locked. This reliably prevents operating errors. The large opening in the profile provides room for maneuvering when the latch bolt enters and compensates for tolerances. Upon opening, a spring mechanism automatically pulls the pin back into the leaf. This ATRIUM® inviso M can be used for all frame and sash arrangements and is suitable for elements according to burglary resistance class RC2. This does not require any additional milling work on the sash. The ATRIUM® inviso M is profile dependent.
