What has proven itself for so long on the market and millions of times in plastic profiles now gets its own brand name. GEALAN is repositioning its high-quality PMMA surface: acrylcolor becomes GEALAN-acrylcolor®.

The advantages of plastic window frames with GEALAN-acrylcolor® have been evident for over 40 years: the sophisticated surface of acrylic glass is remarkably durable: it is long-lasting, weather-resistant and robust like no other. In addition, GEALAN-acrylcolor® is absolutely colorfast and is available in a particularly wide range of colors, which even includes beautiful metallic colors.

In addition to its excellent material properties and aesthetic aspects, GEALAN-acrylcolor® also scores highly in terms of durability. This has made continuous further development of the profile extrusion possible. In the process of tri-extrusion, recyclate can now be added as a third material in addition to PMMA and PVC. This makes it possible to produce profiles with a recyclable core and first-class surfaces such as GEALAN-acrylcolor®. This makes the already extremely long serviceable and up to 100% recyclable PVC frames even more sustainable, thanks to the efficient use of resources.
