As a well-established supplier of wood home products including doors, Deli Home always aims to respond innovatively to market trends and meet consumers' needs. However, developing an insulating and lightweight front door of our well-known quality required a lot of research and development. After all, how do you make a front door insulating, as light as possible, dimensionally stable and, not unimportantly, also beautiful to look at?

Innovative design

Despite the challenges, Deli Home managed to use clever solutions to develop a new generation of front doors with advantages in terms of insulation, weather sensitivity and maintenance. These fantastic advantages were achieved through a highly accurate composite panel construction. What makes these front doors unique is that this composite panel construction is suitable for application in different types of doors and is therefore available under different brands. Even panel doors can be produced with the composite panel construction.

The construction is composed of an insulating core with aluminum plates on either side. The surface plates are 100% FSC® meranti plywood for a stylish appearance similar to that of solid wood front doors. The core consists of an XPS rigid foam board that is pressure resistant, moisture resistant and lightweight while also having an increased insulation value. This means lower energy consumption, thus maximum living comfort! The aluminum plates contribute to a high form stability of the door, greatly reducing any shrinkage and swelling behavior. And the use of lightweight materials makes the front door very easy to process in contrast to heavy solid hardwood front doors.
