From standard solutions to complete production lines and from automated warehouses to workshop equipment and accessories: at Tryma everything is available to complete the entire process from a to z. Including expert advice, top-notch installation and thorough maintenance. Thanks to the presence of Tryma Netherlands, launched in 2018, the Dutch market is also increasingly benefiting from the knowledge and experience present within the company. Sales manager Dennis Koning tells more about it.
With years of experience as a production manager at various window and door manufacturers, Dennis Koning helped found Tryma Netherlands about two years ago. "While Tryma was well known and represented in Belgium, the company name did not ring as easily with our neighbors to the north," he recalls. "With that fact as a starting point, I began talks with the company. Soon thereafter it was decided to start a branch office for the Dutch market as well, so that the window and door manufacturers active there could be better served. As sales manager, I am responsible for Tryma Netherlands."
With the 'annex' active since 2018, Tryma is gaining an increasingly firm foothold in the Netherlands and is able to serve frame manufacturers in the best possible way. Because Tryma not only delivers, the company also thinks along.
"From our knowledge and experience, we provide advice and support beyond that of other companies," says King. "Our team is ready at any time for maintenance and troubleshooting." But it always starts with providing an appropriate and working solution. One such solution is provided by German machine builder Rotox/AFS Federhenn. Rotox is a name well known in the Netherlands and around the manufacture of machines especially for plastic window frames is praised worldwide for its quality, versatility and productivity gains. In addition to Belgium, Tryma has also been an official dealer of the leading brand in the Netherlands since the beginning of this year.
"AFS Federhenn and Rotox together represent nearly 100 years of experience in the field of machinery for the production of windows and doors," King said. "The mutual cooperation has resulted in a complete product range that allows producers to be served to size. Regardless of company size. With milling machines, saws, machining centers, welding machines, corner polishers, hardware assembly, automatic buffer systems and more. All of which are high-quality machines and supplies that can meet any need."
One of the showpieces within that whole is the type BSA, the sawing and machining center with which Federhenn offers frame manufacturers a high-quality and versatile solution for the fully automatic sawing and machining of PVC profiles. Milling, sawing, drilling: it is all possible. Furthermore, thanks to its modular design, the machine can be made suitable for, among other things, steel sawing, contour milling, locking cam assembly and the automatic stripping of profiles. These are appealing advantages of which Aarnink Kunststof Kozijnen, renowned manufacturer of plastic window frames, will experience a number of them in practice from the beginning of next year. Indeed, to better meet current market demand, the Deventer company recently decided to purchase the technical tour de force through Tryma.
During the search for a new profile machining center, the supplier of plastic window frames, doors, sliding doors, facade cladding and sun blinds, which was founded in 1989, did not take any chances. This is evident from the words of Stefan Blom, who together with his brother Mark forms the management of the company.
"To replace the previous machine, we were looking for a faster, more accurate and maintenance-friendly alternative. With this machine from AFS Federhenn, those wishes have been fulfilled. It is an extremely versatile machine, with considerably more capacity, flexibility and possibilities. For example, with this machine you can drill holes for hinges, make dewatering and venting holes and cut steel profiles, among other things. Fully automatic. And what's also great: thanks to its modular design, you choose exactly what you need. Nothing more and nothing less. In our case, these were the options contrame milling and locking cam assembly."
The decision to go for the top brand Federhenn quickly brought the Blom brothers to Tryma next.
"We already knew each other," says Blom. "In fact, several years ago we already bought a glass batten saw there. Another top-quality product that was delivered quickly and with tiptop service at the time. These experiences led us to choose Tryma again. And that has, also thanks to sales manager Dennis Koning, worked out perfectly. By clearly mapping out our wishes and requirements, thinking along with us and advising us, we got the best fitting machine for our business. To this end, we visited the factories of Federhenn and Rotox together with Tryma and visited a production location in Germany where this machining center was already in full operation. Those initiatives gave us an excellent impression of the expertise of both brands and the many possibilities of this great machine."
The brand-new machining center, scheduled for delivery in early 2021, will have a nice spot at Aarnink's new address. "In December, we will cross Paderbornstraat from our old premises into new and more spacious premises," says Blom. "In this former PostNL building, with some 26,000 square feet, we have all the space we need to continue growing. Our latest acquisition in the machine field will make a solid contribution to that."
