Due to the temperature differences between the inner and outer shell of aluminum profiles, stresses and deformations can occur that can hinder the proper functioning of locks in doors and in sliding windows. The problem manifests itself especially with dark aluminum profiles, large doors and south-facing orientation. Based on extensive bench testing, Van Beveren is launching a patented solution that can be applied to Van Beveren profiles.
Patented combined solution
Van Beveren's unique solution does not address one method, but combines three existing components into a solution that is at once effective, universal and fully standards-compliant :
The spring stiffness of the profile is reduced by a factor of 10 through perforated bars : small enough to limit deformation, but large enough to meet the requirements of the ATG.
A patented stiffening that can be easily clicked onto the inner shell of the existing profile where the bimetal effect can cause problems. The stiffening also provides a reduced insulation value. However, since this occurs only locally, the influence on the total Uw value of the door remains limited. The stiffening has a view side of barely 29 mm, so it is very aesthetically integrated into the door.
Applicable for both the Optima 70, SS70 and SS55.
Design
The wide range of hinges and locks can be built in.
The principle is also applicable to doors with sash overlay panels.
Additional attachment profile without sacrificing aesthetics.
