Outdoor living is one of the trends in our contemporary society. People want to be outside, but that is not always possible. The weather sometimes throws a spanner in the works. With a winter garden system from Sunparadise, the builder is offered an additional living space that blends seamlessly and harmoniously with any living situation and provides an outdoor feeling inside. The specialist introduces the new PRIME patio roof with a large free span, which provides plenty of light and an unrestricted view of the garden. Those who also want to be protected from wind or rain can choose a partially or fully enclosed system with hard glass walls, for example the new GSS 17 hard glass sliding stacking wall with individually sliding wings.
While a summer garden allows residents to spend time on the terrace during the warmer months without fear of nature's whims, the winter garden as an additional living space brings the atmosphere of the outdoors inside, so to speak. Sunparadise AG, headquartered in the Swiss town of Schaan and with a branch office in Emmen for the Benelux countries, has been developing and manufacturing innovative winter and summer garden systems for many years, such as the thermally insulated KOMET 55 and HAWAII 80 and the non-insulated HAWAII 40, available in a purist PURE and cubic CUBO variant.
Sunparadise is now expanding its range of roof systems with a new high-quality solution: the PRIME patio roof. "With this innovative development, we offer a solution that fits seamlessly and harmoniously into any specific living situation. This high-quality roof, available with glazing up to 33 mm thick and with a wide variety of profiles, can be attached to a building or balcony edge at an inclination between 5° and 45°. However, the system can also be placed harmoniously in the inner corner or expanding around the outer corner or simply integrated into any arrangement in a new construction project.
"PRIME is even ideally suited as an individual conservatory or as a balcony enclosure," says Lucas Bouwers, who, together with Rob Jonkergouw, vouches for Sunparadise in the Netherlands. "Thanks to the large free span without a center post, a view without restrictions is created. Invisibly integrated gutters and downspouts ensure efficient water drainage, and thanks to built-in cable channels in the beams, atmospheric LED lighting can also be provided.
A PRIME patio roof is easy to install and can be closed against rain, wind or cold with fully glazed, sliding, folding and stacking walls as well as equipped with a completely invisible integrated fabric sunshade.
"The all-glass sliding systems VG15 and VG17 are based on extremely compact and lightweight aluminum profile systems and are available in 2-, 3-, 4- or 5-track (VG 17 also in 6-track) versions. The individual elements run on ball-bearing rollers and are equipped with carriers that automatically pull the next element along when closing," says Dirk Larivière, together with Steven Billiet the contact person for Sunparadise in Belgium with showroom in Herent.
"The GSS 17, available for several months, is a hard-glass sliding and stacking wall with up to eight individually sliding sashes with dimensions up to 900 x 2700 mm, which are held and guided at the top and bottom in a narrow aluminum profile. All wings are rotated 90° in one station, so that the entire wall becomes a small wing package."
