Editie 2022 van Polyclose wordt een bijzondere editie. Niet alleen omdat de beurs voor raam-, deur-, zonwering-, gevel- en toegangstechniek voor de 20e keer plaatsvindt, maar ook omdat het de eerste grote vakbijeenkomst is na de covidpandemie. Voor het eerst sinds lange tijd kunnen sectorgenoten – in alle veiligheid – innovaties weer met eigen ogen ontdekken én elkaar ontmoeten, netwerken en deals sluiten met professionals uit heel Europa. En dat allemaal op één plek: op 19, 20 en 21 januari 2022 in Flanders Expo Gent. De toegang is gratis mits online voorregistratie met code PP92252261 en exclusief voor professionele bezoekers.

Intussen al voor de 20e keer zullen vooraanstaande Europese marktspelers gedurende drie dagen hun laatste nieuwigheden demonstreren aan zo’n 14.000 professionals – waarvan zo’n kwart uit Nederland. Dat maakt van Polyclose de niet te missen afspraak voor vakgenoten om op de hoogte te blijven van ontwikkelingen en innovaties, en om nieuwe contacten te leggen in de wereld van raam-, deur-, zonwering-, gevel- en toegangstechniek.

Fair organizer Guy Martens: “Reeds begin september 2021 was 90% van de beschikbare standruimte ingevuld. Covid heeft ervoor gezorgd dat mensen nog meer verlangen naar persoonlijke ontmoetingen. Virtuele beurzen hebben bewezen dat ze fysieke beurzen niet kunnen vervangen. De talrijke en enthousiaste opkomst van exposanten toont dat de sector de beurs nodig heeft.”

New trends, new materials, new designs

Ondanks de coronacrisis bewijst de beurs dat de markt van ramen, deuren, zonweringen, gevelsystemen en toegangstechnieken allesbehalve heeft stilgezeten. Hieronder een greep uit de talloze ontwikkelingen die u op Polyclose 2022 kan ontdekken.

Net door de lockdowns en het staycation-effect zijn consumenten fors gaan investeren in meer comfort voor hun woning en uitbreiding van de buitenruimten. Steeds meer mensen kiezen voor een patio canopy om de leefruimte te vergroten. Maar ook voor de horeca was de vraag naar overkappingen nooit eerder zo groot.
The facade remains a building's calling card. Buildings with huge glass surfaces is a trend. Therein lies a challenge for awning. High-quality film cladding is becoming increasingly popular.
Because of rising energy prices and a growing climate problem, more attention is being paid to sustainable solutions and high insulation values. Thus, airtight (re)construction with a thorough insulation today the norm, but (natural) ventilation is important for a healthy indoor environment.
In terms of digitization and automation, further great strides are being made. Software manufacturers continue to optimize and expand their programs. With new features, window manufacturers, door manufacturers and facade builders can calculate, engineer and produce their products ever more easily, quickly and reliably.
Also, the market of access technology continues to grow. Consider, for example, the ever-growing group of elderly people who want to live independently at home for as long as possible, with a flexible and secure access control system for caregivers and those in need of care.
