Presentation of second Preferred Supplier Of The Year Award

Gealan falls in prizes

At the Bouwbeurs in Utrecht, Gealan received the Preferred Supplier Of The Year Award from Henk Weber, director of Kufa Raamsystemen, at a festive gathering.

It was the second time that the cup and accompanying certificate were awarded. A year earlier (2018), KUFA had initiated this special Award. Gealan had come to Utrecht for the presentation with an extensive delegation. Even CEO Ivica Maurovic was there! "Gealan has proven with a young fresh management to be open for innovation and to have a visible eye for a processor like us: it also allowed us to continue to grow and excel," says Henk Weber. "It is a party we enjoy working with. Therefore, it was almost logical that this second Preferred Supplier of the Year Award went to Gealan!"

'Acrylic color window frames will be a hot topic in coming years'

Gerard Kruis of Power to Create Europe from Oosterwolde and Kufa Raamsystemen from IJmuiden tell the editors of trade magazine Profiel in April 2019 that they have been working together for a year now. Gerard:  "I was looking for a party - a vendor - who also recognizes the importance of my agreements and someone who understands the bottlenecks and challenges of my schedules."

"The first project I delivered with the window frames from Kufa Raamsystemen was a project in Groningen, a beautiful apartment complex in the Molukkenstraat. There the first frames from the S9000.NL series were delivered in acrylcolor. It made this new construction project very successful."

Gerard suspects that acrylic color window frames will become a "hot topic" in the coming years. "For me as an executive and cooperating consultant, it is therefore important that I can work with parties who understand how to give a positive impetus to the look and feel of residential construction in the Netherlands, thereby rewarding the stimulating creativity of architects."    

Summer 2019

KUFA says that by 2019, more than 80% of KUFA window frames will be supplied with wood grain foil.

"The popularity has continued to increase since we have not only just HVL^® in our range, as well as the double HVL^® connection. The Realwood foils^® are a great success. They are in high demand," says Henk Weber in this year's Profile Number 5." "We obviously don't take any chances in putting together our collection: only high-quality wood grain films go on sale. And, we give a 10-year warranty on them. Partly for this reason, we believe very much in the future of this product. Since April of this year, the entire collection includes no fewer than 10 Realwood films^®."

Looking ahead to 2020

In the year 2020, Kufa Window Systems will come out with the new innovation in the industry viz. the  RENOs9000^® - renovation window frame.  "We will be sharing more about it in future editions of Profile!"
