A construction project is not complete without a beautiful and appropriate front door. With its Frager doors, Harinck has stood for innovation, quality, diversity, durability and safety for 40 years. Testimony to this includes the revolutionary front door system Magnetude®, as well as new models such as Florager and Vitrine, which respectively stand for themes such as green and personalized. Those who want to discover the right door for their project can visit Polyclose but recently also the Frager-Forum, the manufacturer's new experience, meeting & education center.
Harinck recently launched Florager, a door in Corten steel overgrown with ivy or other climbing plants, and Vitrine with an opening window to place objects in.
Innovation runs like a thread through Harinck's history. After all, the manufacturer is constantly pushing its boundaries. In order to offer a solution to the warping and pinching of especially large and high classic sash covering systems with glued door sashes, the R&D department developed a few years ago a unique and revolutionary system in which the door panels are not glued to the door sash, but are simply mounted via a magnetic principle: Magnetude®.

With other new developments, the manufacturer is responding to evolutions in the market. After all, while in the past buildings tended to look alike and a limited number of models of front doors were sufficient, architects and building owners today like to set their own accents in the architecture of their homes. The facade is often a business card, and builders like to have a personalized door.

In that vein, Harinck recently introduced two very distinctive door models:
Florager and Vitrine.
"There are organizations, such as the Facade Garden Brigade in Ghent, that want to cool down the city by removing stones along the facade and replacing them with vegetation. In an urban environment, that facade consists mostly of window and door. Therefore, with Florager, we developed a door in Corten steel, which rusts naturally. It is also overgrown with ivy and other climbing plants that make their way along the door pull," says general manager Franck De Munster.
"The seed for another project stems from the corona period when people placed bears in the window to create connection. Over time then, a wide variety of things were displayed. We now want to encourage that further with Vitrine. Indeed, in this door there is an opening window that leads to a small showcase, where residents can display something."
Harinck recently converted the oldest building on its site into the Frager-Forum, a new showroom concept with meeting rooms and training center where visitors can visit by appointment.
"In the Frager Avenue they can see and feel our traditional and very trendy doors as well as get all the technical explanations. Consumers come here with pictures of their homes and ask us to recommend a suitable door. Project developers and architects are also welcome to come for inspiration. For example, they are impressed by the new bauhaus collection with
focus on minimalist design, ease of use and efficiency. In addition, we can offer specific solutions for applications where acoustics and fire safety are important," explains a proud Franck
The Munster toe.
"We also have a large room here, where, for example, window and door fabricators can go for presentations or meetings after a factory visit. Finally, the Frager-Forum includes a training center, where we can show visitors the capabilities of our online ordering system or provide training around, for example, the Magnetude®-technique."
