The MACO Lift&Slide concept meets the requirements of airtight construction. The qv10 values have been determined by SHR, which proves that the MACO Lift&Slide concept can be used for airtight construction. It meets the Energy Performance Coefficient (EPC standard) Class 3. Which stands for excellent! New construction has high requirements for the air permeability (qv10 value) of the façade, which makes doors and window frames considerably heavier.
For the occupant (user of lift-slide doors)
When a home is airtight, it is low in energy consumption. This gives high comfort of the working and living environment and is achieved by reducing air leaks. Enjoying beautiful large elements with the assurance that indoors remains comfortable.
For the frame supplier
Airtight construction means preventing air leaks in both the frame and the connection of the frame to the structural framework. It is a strong selling point, an additional USP, towards the market. An added value for providing living and living comfort.
