Customers are becoming increasingly demanding in terms of quality and delivery time. Companies are therefore constantly looking for innovative solutions to optimize their production processes and make them more efficient. An experienced partner can help them invest in the right machines. Soenen Hendrik is specialized in the development and production of automatic production lines for window frames in PVC and aluminium as well as fully automatic solutions for the processing of aluminium profiles for terrace coverings, balustrades, curtain walls, ...... The specialist from Izegem assists the customer from A to Z: from planning and production to assembly and service.

The Soenen Group, the Belgian machinery manufacturer founded in 1946, is internationally known as a producer of automated, high-tech production lines for the manufacture of window frames in aluminum and PVC as well as fully automated solutions for machining aluminum profiles. "We are a one-stop shop, doing everything in-house: R&D, sales, production, software development and integration, assembly, installation, after-sales service,..., and even transport. We always start from a number of basic concepts and listen to the needs and wishes of the customer. This is how we finally arrive at a production line that delivers fully automated, fully machined and finished parts and frames and stocks them at the right warehouse location," says sales representative Pepijn Carlier.
"For machining aluminum profiles, used for a wide variety of applications, we can offer similar lines. In addition, we have solutions for hybrid production lines, allowing customers to machine both PVC and aluminum profiles with a single investment."

Those who invest in the intelligent solutions of Soenen Hendrik choose a far-reaching automation of the production process, where the intervention of operators is reduced to a minimum. Control instruments, including cameras, prevent any errors before and during the processing of the profiles, and since the machines are also set up automatically from the control system, operators do not need extensive knowledge to operate the whole thing. These are significant advantages for companies that are finding it increasingly difficult to find technically skilled personnel.
"We strive to always be one step ahead technologically. An operator places the profiles on the infeed table, after which he or she can be engaged at another place in the production process. The machine recognizes the profiles and performs the job perfectly. This allows the profiles to be milled and drilled (including flux drills and tapping) in the first stage, after which they are then sawn and counter-profiled (contour molding) fully automatically. Each piece is fully finished and labeled. The finished profiles are sorted fully automatically on an output table," explains the sales representative.
"This Smart Machine can operate unmanned and is equipped with self-optimization and automatic tool breakage detection. The operation of the tool, which needs to be replaced, is automatically taken over by other available tools, thus avoiding any machine downtime. The open source software can be controlled with any package. Adding new profiles or operations is child's play."

At Soenen Hendrik, meanwhile, they continue to invest in the optimization of their systems. With an experience of more than 60 years, the specialists know the market through and through. They can therefore advise customers and respond flexibly to questions and adjustments.
"Thanks to MR glasses we can show the customers, how the machine will be integrated in his production. Since our machine are Mixed Reality compatible, we can supply the system with MR glasses. If the operator puts on the glasses when there is a problem, he can contact one of our technical staff directly. The latter then looks along and immediately gives the operator the right instructions from a distance to solve the problem," concludes Pepijn Carlier. "At Polyclose, Soenen Hendrik looks forward to welcoming you at either booth."
