The market for windows, doors, sunprotection, façade systems and access technology is innovating significantly. (Building) optimization is more than ever the new trend due to increasingly stringent energy and safety standards and digitalization of the construction process. In addition, it will be seen at Polyclose that more and more importance is being attached to the degree of finishing and quasi-invisible integration of elements.

The design of windows and doors, their size, their functionality, combined with solar control systems, are increasingly influential in modern architecture. Traditional stone facades are being replaced by glass facades, and not only in large cities as in the past, but also in recent years in rural areas. The traditional gable roof is being replaced by a flat roof. One could say that the roof is no longer on the facade, but in between. Roofs are becoming a horizontal extension of the facade and façade elements in contemporary architecture. Which of course also provides more opportunities to optimize the placement and profitability of energy generators.

For three days, more than 250 European exhibitors will demonstrate their novelties to some 14,000 visitors, including 25% from the Netherlands. This makes Polyclose the unmissable event for professionals to keep abreast of new products and trends.

Polyclose represents everything that opens and closes in a building. The trade fair offers an overview of all moving elements, including gates and fences. Fair organizer Guy Martens: "Already in July 2019, more than six months before the start of the fair, 95% of the available booth space had been filled. This year we welcome again a lot of German, Italian and Dutch companies."
