Quality and durable corner bonding

Proper handling, bonding and sealing of corner profiles is crucial for a perfect finish, especially in environments where there is a higher risk of corrosion. The protective products for saw cuts and bonding products for corner joints from specialist Novatio therefore meet highest requirements. 

"Thus, the sealants ACO-210 Anticorro, HMS-210 Frame Sealant Trans, Seal & Bond MS22 X and Seal & Bond Sealtrans were tested at METALogic, a renowned Belgian family company within corrosion control and recognized as an official test lab for Qualicoat, among others," says Bram Starckx, technology manager at Novatio. "After all, we wanted to have these products tested in full compliance with the Seaside criteria in order to also have the proof in black and white. All passed the tests with flying colors and are consequently suitable for Seaside-compliant sealing of corner joints." 

These solutions are also Meko and isocyanate free. Not unimportant given that these chemicals are classified as hazardous substances by the EU. Novatio's products do not include any known hazardous substances, which means they are more environmentally friendly and safer to use and no additional training is required for their use.

Drive for innovation

Novatio continues to invest continuously in innovation. For example, with MSF-1145 MS Fastbond 1K and MSU-1136 MS Ultra Fastbond 2K, the manufacturer recently launched two new products that significantly improve and speed up the bonding process. MSF-1145 MS Fastbond 1K is a mono-component hybrid MS polymer for bonding applications requiring high tensile strength. This high tensile strength is combined with very high flexibility and stress relief for bonding and sealing various materials such as metals, engineering plastics and glass. The flexibility of Fastbond allows low stress bonding of different materials. 

"MSU-1136 MS Ultra Fastbond 2K is a 2-component system for bonding and sealing. The product has very fast, shrinkage-free internal polymerization and meets the highest standards. After barely 30 minutes, the bonding is already hand-tight," the technology manager continues. "In addition, this adhesive is UV- and weather-resistant and completely odorless. No mold occurs either.
Ultra Fastbond 2K adheres to most common materials such as varnished and galvanized surfaces, ferrous and nonferrous metals, steel, aluminum, paint, varnish, polyester, wood and most plastics."
