Munich is quietly getting ready for a new edition of the biennial trade fair BAU. From January 14 to 19, 2019, architects and designers will once again have appointment with the latest developments from manufacturers from the most diverse sectors and countries.
Presenters from Orgadata (such as Henning Wagner) will present the latest software for window, door and profile construction on stage during Bau 2019.
As one of the world's most important events for the construction industry, this fair also attracts many window manufacturers, door manufacturers and facade builders. These can also visit the stand of software house Orgadata to learn about the latest developments that can support them in the digitization of their daily work. At booth 636 in hall C5, the company will present Logikal 12 or the latest version of its well-known software program.
Many years ago, Orgadata developed a software package that allows the metalworking industry to design and produce windows, doors and facades. Logikal was an instant hit. Well thought-out practical functions, the intuitive way of working, the clear visualization of production processes and steps, integration into the company's IT network and compatibility with other software solutions ensure that today more than sixteen thousand users worldwide rely on Logikal. Logikal 12 more punishing than ever
Paul Thyssen (center in photo) and his colleagues from Orgadata are always ready to have a good conversation about the profession at Bau 2019.
AUAt the trade fair BAU, Orgadata is showing off the latest version of its popular software program: Logikal 12. Thus, Orgadata's moderators will give animated and instructive live presentations of the software's most important components on a stage. After all, Logikal 12 is so far the most punishing version ever of the production and calculation software. This is evident, among other things, from the new design and even greater user-friendliness of the software, the so-called "Look and Feel.
"Now it is even more pleasant to work with Logikal," say Paul Thyssen and the other Orgadata employees. "Everything is even clearer and simpler thanks to the new icons. It looks like you're just working in one of the familiar Office programs." The central project center, from which all projects start, was also optimized. For example, several projects can now be opened simultaneously and the "Drag-and-Drop" function allows the user to move certain work phases or entire sections of one project to another.
Logikal 'MES'
Another eye-catcher during the presentations will be the Logikal "MES" (Manufacturing Execution System), the ideal extension for Logikal, which digitizes, optimizes and controls the various steps in the production process of windows, doors and facades. "With this software, the right information is displayed at the right workstation at the right time for each predefined work area," Thyssen explains. "Thus, on a touch screen, the operator automatically sees exactly what he himself and what the machine have to do to produce the product tailored to the customer's needs. Instructions for a next phase are only available after a phase is completely finished and the workpiece ends up at another workstation."
The work orders are also no longer printed out, but are available on the workshop monitors. This Logikal "MES" is therefore the control center for digital, paperless production of systems.
Orgadata take up the (work) gauntlet
Each profile is given a barcode, which allows it to be tracked throughout the production process. "The usual barcode scanner can now be replaced by a new revolutionary work glove, which is part of the production process, so to speak," Paul Thyssen concludes. "With this tool, everything will be able to be done even faster and more directly. I am already eagerly looking forward to our presentations at Bau."
