Stadur Produktions GmbH & Co. KG has been a big name in the production and sale of sandwich elements for over thirty years. As the latest innovation at Fensterbau Frontale, a sandwich element was presented whose core consists of recycled PET material. "In combination with a top layer made of PP - i.e. without PVC - we have thus developed an environmentally friendly product that is, so to speak, a bit 'greener' and has an even lower CO2 footprint than our main products," says Stadur sales manager Marc Nickel. "Moreover, this innovative sandwich panel is even more cost-effective than, for example, FrameTec and ProfileTec."
When installing windows and doors, sandwich panels provide improved thermal and acoustic insulation. "Partly because of this high energy efficiency rating, our sandwich panels are in high demand in countries such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland," Nickel continued. "However, particularly on the Dutch market, Stadur's products are not yet very well known. Therefore, we are hereby appealing to innovative Dutch frame manufacturers who are open to testing our sandwich panels in practice."
According to the sales manager, frame manufacturers are thereby assured of top quality in every case. "For example, our sandwich elements FrameTec and ProfileTec were recently subjected to tests by several independent bodies. This showed once again that compared to conventional elements with hollow chambers, they score significantly better in terms of energy efficiency."
