GND warranty doors, expands the GND assurance label with additional information buttons. The updated label, according to GND, represents an important step toward assuring quality and circularity. The label aligns well with the Building Quality Assurance Act (Wkb), which will come into force January 1, 2024. By scanning the GND assurance label with the QR code on the door, GND offers additional product information. This information is found under several new buttons and provides access to a number of standard PDFs. Direct access is also provided to the website of the manufacturer of the respective door. Here, additional information can be retrieved about the performance that can be used for file creation.
In 2016, GND introduced the security label. By scanning the QR code, attached to the hinge side of the door, all performance ven the door can be easily read on the screen of a smartphone. Almost 30,000 QR code scans have already been performed this year. Market research shows that 60 percent of respondents have already used the label to check the performance of a door. More than 90 percent of them say the label adds value. GND, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, meets a growing need for transparency and verifiability of products during the construction and use phase with the assurance label.
