FR5 offers maximum flexibility combined with maximum use of cargo space. On top of that, this flexible vehicle equipment ensures the utmost safety during daily work. FR5 has been developed on the basis of components of the SR5 modular system which allows, for example, the SR-BOXXes to be perfectly integrated. Moreover, the new shelf system offers additional convenience for craftsmen and service technicians who want a flexibly adaptable installation.

For courier, express and parcel services

The FR5 vehicle equipment offers enormous potential for parcel delivery services and couriers. They will not only make their work processes faster and safer with this new shelf system, but will also simplify them in the long run. Both the shelves and side profiles adapt to the individual vehicle, ensuring maximum freedom of movement. The shelves close automatically, are easily accessible and guarantee fast handling of packages. Thanks to their simple and intuitive operation, the collapsible shelves can be operated with just one hand.

The combination of aluminum and steel makes the FR5 extremely sturdy and allows a load capacity of 100 kg per shelf. The edge-free GripMaxx shelves, specially developed for the new system, are equipped with an integrated anti-slip edge for safe transport and smoother loading and unloading. In addition, with the integrated Sortimo ProSafe load securing system one easily secures packages of all sizes, minimizing the risk of damage.

ProPartition: secure and time-saving

Sortimo developed the ProPartition system especially for parcel deliverers and couriers. This stable partition with sliding door gives the driver direct access to the cargo area from the driver's cabin. This reduces walking distances and saves considerable time. The driver can exit the vehicle through the sliding door on the right, on the curb side. The flat entry threshold and edge protection prevent the driver from tripping. In addition, it remains possible to carry a second person and keep the original mounting rails in the cargo area. Sortimo ProPartition is compliant with DIN ISO 27956 and ECE-R 14 / 16 / 17 certified.

For craftsmen and service technicians

The flexible shelf system from Sortimo is also particularly interesting for craftsmen and service technicians who, on the one hand, are looking for a full-fledged in-vehicle equipment and, on the other hand, regularly need a high loading capacity to transport large items. Thanks to the simple FR5 folding function, the shelves can be folded up quickly and easily, if necessary, to provide sufficient space for large items. Moreover, this also allows the utility vehicle to be used on weekends to transport bicycles and other large leisure items.

FR5 is a real space wonder and thanks to its synergy with the SR5 components, the possibilities are numerous. The SR5 aluminum side panels and intermediate profiles are also used in the FR5. The shelves - without edge, with edge height 2 (34 mm) and with edge height 4 (68 mm) - are fully integrated into the smart Sortimo system. Moreover, the shelves can be further optimized by equipping them with various dividers, Sortimo SR-BOXXes for tools, work materials and small components, and non-slip mats to prevent the load from sliding.
