DUCO blows out 30 candles

To be precise, the company shot out of the starting blocks on March 18, 1991, with seven employees. Since then, the ventilation specialist has grown tremendously. Not only does it now employ some 240 people, but the company infrastructure is constantly being expanded to accommodate its continued growth. Big celebrations could not yet take place, yet CEO Luc Renson did not want this anniversary to go unnoticed.

As an integral part of the West Flemish business landscape, it is impossible to imagine the Westhoek without DUCO. Started in 1991 in Nieuwpoort, the company has grown into a leading European player, where every day people work with passion on ventilation systems for a healthy indoor climate. For thirty years, DUCO has been ensuring a healthy indoor climate in homes, apartments, schools, offices and care centers. The company exports 85% of its turnover, of which 100% is produced on the 10 ha production site in Veurne.

3 million homes full of oxygen

In its first year of existence, DUCO provided oxygen to 800 families. 30 years later, the ventilation and shading specialist has already provided more than 3 million homes with a healthy indoor climate. A unique achievement, which the CEO says was not possible without a strong DUCO team, loyal DUCO dealers and satisfied customers. The 30-person R&D team also continuously strives to develop sustainable and innovative ventilation and shading concepts. "Thanks to this ambition and doer's mentality, we are ready for a healthy and green future," beams the West Flanders entrepreneur.

New offices

DUCO celebrates its 30^ste anniversary starting this summer in a brand new office complex. The structural exterior blinds with rectangular design louvers will ensure that the new offices become an absolute eye-catcher along the E40 motorway. Moreover, the Belgian ventilation specialist can also immediately give a business card in the field of sustainable ventilation techniques with smart, natural ventilation combined with intensive night ventilation. Or how to create a healthy indoor climate for all employees in a natural way, without using energy-consuming air conditioners. The 7,500 m² to office space in turn facilitate the continued growth of the DUCO Team. To provide every opportunity for the company's continued growth, DUCO is looking for 30 new colleagues.
