In this report, Profiel gives a preview of the various strengths of the company from Kuringen.

Interior Applications

LoCra interior consists of a range of finished, pre-formed paneling for windows, wall frames, shutter boxes made of moisture-resistant green MDF V313, covered with a plastic renolit film, available in white, cream and cream wood grain texture. This film is applied with a polyurethane waterproof adhesive. In addition to the standard solutions, the company can also provide customized solutions.

"With the Lignodur^® topline LD 36 and masterline LD 40, we offer a wide, high-quality range of window slats in different models, widths and colors. Their low weight ensures easy installation. Thanks to the Lignodur^®, a high-quality mix of wood and plastic, creates a robust end product with a long lifespan," says case manager Lode Craenen.

"In terms of door panels, we also offer a wide range, both classic inset panels and wing-covering solutions. We can custom design and personalize each door. Thanks to a specially developed production technique, the film continues in the flexible alignment of the grooves, which gives the door panel an extra dimension."

Exterior applications

In addition to these products for interior applications in homes and other buildings, LoCra also offers specific solutions for exterior applications. For example, the company presents its range of facade and gutter claddings, assembled from Medite Tricoya^® Extreme, a unique panel material with superior dimensional stability and durability even under the most changing weather conditions. These panels, available in an exceptional length of 5550 mm, are finished with a UV-resistant renolit film.

"We also supply Lignodur terrafina^® patio boards that are crack- and splinter-free, but above all are distinguished by easy installation," adds the business manager.

"Indeed, thanks to an ingenious click & clip system, the decking boards click together easily. The installer does not have to pre-drill and screw, making installation 50 % faster. Moreover, the installation system ensures that there is always a narrow 3 to 4 mm joint between the boards, and a disassembly clip ensures that the decking boards can be disassembled without damage and reassembled later. The system is available with Lignodur WPC and aluminum support beams in high and low versions. These are the only ones in the market equipped with integrated anti-slip strips, which prevent the boards from sliding."

At Polyclose, LoCra is also putting the new Lignodur terrafina^® lounge Massiv and Massiv XL in the spotlight. The new raw material Lignoguard, which fully sheathes the boards, increases stain resistance and ease of maintenance, making this innovation also ideal for use on patio covers, balconies, ....
