Aluminum shutters and blinds from heroal are ideal for darkening buildings and effectively protecting interiors from heat, UV rays and unwanted prying eyes. Thanks to an integrated solar-powered motor, these shutters and awnings can be controlled in a particularly energy-saving manner. Various solutions within the heroal portfolio make it possible to meet specific requirements.
The heroal VS Z sun protection system with Somfy solar drive combines the advantages of an innovative zipscreen system with an integrated solar-powered motor, the Somfy Solar RS io. The solar drive can be quickly and easily installed in the small, stable heroal attachment GR37, for which various bottom frames and guide rails are available. The side covers with differently positioned motor position and a newly developed shaft make optimum use of the winding space, so that valuable space savings can be achieved. The battery is located on the front cover and can therefore be replaced quickly and easily.
With a 95mm hood box, dimensions of 2,000 x 2,200 mm can be realized with an element area of up to 4.4 m², while with a 105mm hood box, elements up to 3,000 x 3,000 mm are possible with a maximum area of 7.5 m². The zipscreen system with Somfy solar drive is available as a ready-to-use element (heroal Ready). In addition, the shading system heroal VS Z can also be equipped with the proprietary heroal motor (10 Nm).
Integration with solar motors from Kaiser Nienhaus Easyline Solar (6 and 20 Nm) and Somfy RS 100 Solar io (6, 10, 15 and 20 Nm) enables energy-efficient drive of heroal shutter systems. A large selection of shutter slat systems with a cover width between 37 and 52 mm is available.
Control is wireless via remote control or a button on the wall. For maximum flexibility, the solar motors are equipped with an integrated lithium-ion or nickel-metal hydride battery. If the sun does not shine enough, the battery provides enough energy for about 100 cycles of the screen or roller shutter armor. If the battery is completely empty, it can also be charged via an external interface. A separate power supply is not required.
