A new era in cladding

Afterthought Polyclose - HARINCK

In every interview, managing director Franck De Munster emphasizes that at Harinck/Frager, people love a challenge and like to think out-of-the-box. These are not empty words. After the manufacturer solved the problems of dilation in front doors with Magnetude® technology a few years ago, they showed a revolutionary facade cladding at Polyclose, where the exterior panels are also fixed with magnets: Frager Facade. From now on, the same system can be used for the cladding of front doors, sectional doors and facades.

This development combines sleek design and unprecedented versatility with quick installation. The combination of flat aluminum sheets with inset shadow joint and sleek interior and exterior corner solutions creates a modern, minimalist design. By the way, that exterior sheet does not have to be in aluminum, as copper, brass, glass, mirrors, burnt wood in mosaic, ceramic, natural stone, etc., can also be used as a finish. Even a green facade with plants or solar panels is possible. Furthermore, one can very easily integrate lighting, videophone or other elements.

"In the first phase, facade frames are custom-mounted to the structure behind. The exterior panels are attached with magnets only as a last resort," states Franck De Munster. "The advantages of magnetism over bonding are numerous. For example, one can work faster because there is no drying time involved. In rain or cold temperatures, one can also simply continue to assemble. All parts of this Frager Facade also remain intact when disassembled, so they can be reused immediately. This development therefore fits perfectly with the trend toward circularity within the construction industry."
