Novatech International's brands provide professionals and industrial customers with high-quality solutions for bonding, sealing, cleaning and surface treatment. They focus on simplifying users' tasks. The Belgian family-owned company invests heavily in the development of new solutions and the optimization of existing products. Witness Novatio's upgrade of Seal & Bond MS60 based on Next Gen Polymer Technology.
Seal & Bond MS60 is the all-rounder within Novatio's range for bonding, fitting and sealing. This product is completely water and windproof and can be used as a Radon barrier. It remains elastic for a long time and has high weather and UV resistance. MS60 can be painted over with almost all paints, except alkyd resin-based paints. This solution is free of harmful substances such as phthalates, silicones and isocyanates. It can be used safely on all materials and is characterized by very high tensile and adhesive strength.
“With the updated Seal & Bond MS60, we are introducing for the first time a major upgrade of this all-rounder that has been in the range for a long time. The goal was to make this product even stronger, faster, more resistant and more durable,” says Mano Geuns, sales manager Novatio Benelux Windows, Doors & Outdoor Living.

“This innovative version is based on Next Gen Polymer Technology, the latest generation of hybrid polymers. The bonding strength is 15 to 30 % higher than the original version, and the tensile strength is also greater, specifically 380 kg/10cm². This new product also cures 2 to 4 times faster, and that even at low temperatures starting from -10°C. Finally, this version also scores better in terms of durability with elastic shape recovery above 90 % and higher mold and bacteria resistance ISO 846 Class 0.”
In addition to improving the product's formula, Novatio is replacing traditional Seal & Bond MS60 tubes with PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) tubes. They are produced from recycled plastic, reducing the need for new plastic and reducing the ecological footprint. So the customer gets a familiar product with improved adhesion and cure speed in a new gray PCR tube. The label design was slightly modified to emphasize the sustainable approach.
Hybrid polymers have been a widely used technology in the adhesives and sealants industry for many years thanks to their versatility, strength and flexibility. The combination of high bonding strength and high elasticity allows them to absorb movement and vibration, while being strong enough to keep everything connected.
“Our Next Gen Polymer Technology builds on the known benefits of the hybrid polymers in our products, but uses a new and more contemporary platform that is even faster, more efficient and more durable. These properties also make them an excellent base for elastic adhesives and highly adhesive sealants, such as our Seal & Bond MS60,” Geuns points out.

“This new technology also offers benefits in other areas. Just think about ecology and health. After all, it contains no known toxic components and both during and after use there is virtually no emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Products such as our MS60 therefore achieve the very highest classification for indoor air quality, such as the German Emicode EC1+. This makes them suitable for demanding applications, both indoors and outdoors. In short: hybrid MS polymers are in many cases the ideal choice for both sealing and bonding: better adhesion, perfectly workable, safe, environmentally friendly, ....”
During Polcylose, Novatio is once again playing the card of ‘sustainability’ to the fullest. In addition to this updated Seal & Bond MS60 based on Next Gen Polymer Technology, other sustainable solutions will definitely be on display.
